As harsh as it is there comes a time when enough is enough.
He is using up a wage every season that could be put to better use.1 -

I was thinking of JFC as a way of easing him back in. He is a left-footer and given the number of games he's played, I'd be surprised he hasn't filled in there before.0

JJ said last night that Page had gone away to a specialist rehab centre in order to get his body used to the rigours of the Championship as so far his body has let him down too much. He said a similar thing about Aneke too. But that was down to the intensity of our training in comparison to anything they’ve ever had before.
Just when Page seemed to be getting back, he got a secondary injury which pushed him back again.
He’s now running outside and will be slowly introduced into training. The other positive side is that Taylor is the longest term injury we have now, so Page ought to be available in a couple of weeks or so.
By this time next month, if we don’t pick up any real proper injuries, we could have a whole squad to choose from.5 -

Page's so far has struggled to cope with the rigours of any period of games since he joined us. He seemed fine at Coventry, he played 26 games in his loan spell there, whereas in over 2 1/2 seasons here he's played 27. It's not as if any of the injuries have been major ones either, like a broken leg or a cruciate ligament.

Which is exactly why he went to the specialist rehabilitation to try and get him into some sort of physical shape to be able to cope with the rigour of the game and the intensity of which they train and play at. The club has recognised this and trying to rectify it so he can be available and play. And when he is, they’ll rotate and use Page and Purrington wisely. Right now it’s about getting him into a condition where he can play and not break down straight away.killerandflash said:
