I remember the good old days when you got flagged (twice actually) for merely referring to Robinson as Gobshite and being stupid enough to compare him with Fraye.
The man is completely inept at anything except arse-licking and compliance and therefore suits this regime perfectly.

So Robinson's record after 16 games was worse than Slade yet he kept his job and Slade got the sack. Doesn't make sense really does it? The Congo Chris effect? Or just a heavy dose of President arse kissing?
Although I'm sure it isn't the reason, hopefully they have finally seen the light and will actually stick with a manager and give him the time and tools to do the job properly.1 -

No team in the division has won fewer home games than us. Only Port vale, Walsall, Shrewsbury and the bottom 2 have won fewer away games. We are terrible. 10 wins in 40 games, of which Slade and Robinson have won 8 out of 38.

I don't actually think RS would have done much better if i'm honest, we were always going to fade with the squad we had post Lookman and a few injuries. We may have to got 50 points 2-3 games back with Slade but that'd be about it.Beardface said:Every decision has been the right decision.
Neither Slade or Robinson are ultimately the problem, we all know that. That said I don't rate either of them. Slade only had one way of playing which was very negative, Robinson has about 10 different ways of playing, non of which he seems to realise don't suit the players at his disposal, if you are unable to get the best out of what you've got (whatever that may be) then thats poor management whether it's at a League 1 football club or a Bank. He's ever changing views in the press conferences are a man out of his depth.
If they are still here next year I can't see it being much different, another drab year in League 1 not challenging for anything apart from flirting with relegation, in a 3/4 empty Valley and a manager change half way through, like this year probably a bit before the transfer window opens.2 -
