    Tomorrow's Losers:

    2:10 Alpha des Obeaux 7/1

    4:50 Project Bluebook 12/1 ew

I have three out of four of these. Apologies in advance

I'm up exactly £4.30! Still have my £20 stake returned which i've put on a 5 fold accy on the footy tonight NOT including charlton.

And thank you football, my 5 fold accy with the free bet comes in by a country mile, £197. Staying away from the horses.
  • Anyone out there going tomorrow have spare room in their car from down south ?? Long shot I know but person who was driving has pulled out on me last minute meaning I'm left with a spare ticket too.

    Wait until @DaveMehmet reads this!!!
  • Two seconds, a third and a nowhere yesterday in a Lucky 15. If I'd done e/w I'd have been OK with tiny profit.
Today the Lucky 15 will be e/w:
    1:30 Messiere des Obeaux
    2:10 Royal Vacation
    4:10 Sausalito Sunrise
    4:50 Domperignon du Lys
    Good luck everyone.
  • Good day for me. Two winners and five horses placed means my Betfair account is looking rather healthy.
From previous experience, I should ease off now, but I have the week off work just to watch the festival so I will try to at least end the Festival in profit.
All of my success today came through picking horses that had already performed well at the Festival or in decent races at Cheltenham. It has served me quite well in the past too.
  • Not a great day for me yesterday but would have been a lot worse in Un Temps hadn't obliged.
  • Neon Wolf Cantlow double also added at 5/1

  • Small stake ew doubles and upwards.image
  • rubbish day, only one got near was singlefarm but obviously got done by a nose :( Bet on every race aswell, back to losing at football me thinks :)
  • Free skybet for me today in the 13:30, Consul de Thaix @ 16-1. Lose and money back on another footy Acca.
  • Only horse I've backed at this week is Prospectous in the 4.50 today.
  • Thankfully won all my money back on a 23/1 6 fold on the football last night. Never backing the horses again....

Then my mate sends over his tips and I've gone and backed one in every race again
  • Like the look of Walsh's horse in the first - Bacardys
  • Hopefully a bit better today:-

1-30 Neon Wolf, Shattered Love ew
    2:10 Alpha des Obeaux
    2:50 Tombstone, River Frost ew
    3:30 Garde La Victoire ew
    4:10 Cause of Causes
    4:50 Long Call
    5:30 Someday
  • My 3 for today

    1. 30 Neon Wolf NB

    4.50 Diving Bere Trixie

    5.30 Western Ryder NAP
  • Whisper
    Tin Soldier
    Divin Bere

e/w Trixie .. A bit concerned as a) Only 1 place so far yesterday and b) two of my three are Henderson trained .. he can't keep on winning .. can he ???

Backed Neon Wolf at 6/1 ages ago for the Neptune, he's around 2/1 or less a t m .. fingers, toes and eyes crossed for this one

Are you still very confident about Melon @bobmunro? Plenty seem against him on so will be a nice price it seems

Yes - all the latest news from Closutton is very positive. He will go off favourite.

Of the ones ranging against him - Neon Wolf will go for the Neptune, we will know tomorrow of Moon Racer's plans - either Supreme, Champion Hurdle (or if the rumours are true he won't be running anywhere next week), and Melon is smashing Bunk off Early at home. Which leaves Ballyandy and I do not fear him at all.

I think the race will cut up leaving maybe 10 or less runners, and the only rain forecast is a few showers on Monday so the going should be no worse than Good to Soft which is perfect for Melon.

So yes, still very confident (but I've been in the game too long to spend my winnings just yet!).
    Bloody Bookies
