  • Well that was abject, a good day out ruined by 74 minutes of football, had to walk, the football was terrible, we wouldn't have scored if we were playing till today.

Apart from Holmes, everyone was terrible, the ground was terrible, the town is shit tip.

Good day with the lads though

Was in the same train carriage home as Johnnie Jackson, Ricky Holmes and Lee Novak who were on their way to the boxing.

The bloke in the purple who was singing his heart out during the game came in a couple of times to give his opinion on the ownership to the players. They barely even looked at him for the whole few minutes he was ranting.

    Tom, the bloke in purple . . . . .

Step forward CL's very own Elfsborg!

Pissed as a fart an made a complete prat of himself all afternoon!
Did he have a yellow baseball cap on?
Not when I was with him mate.

Chant of the day when he left the stand to 'f@ck off purple' and when he came back to 'here he comes, here he comes!'

Tuesday nights game .Last 7 games charlton 5 defeats 2 draws.Scunthorpe 4 defeats 3 draws.Worstr current form fixture in all four divisions?

The scene is set for a pub-league quality game in front of 5000 spectators (seasonally adjusted in Katrien 'Trump' Meire's mind to a record crowd of 18,000).

Will be a feast of football - looking forward to Tarby's post match analysis.

  • this season no matter what happens has been a fail, playoffs were the bare minimum and anyone that thinks rolands gonna spend in the summer is deluded, league 2 i dont even think we would come back up with roland at the helm, im hoping that he sells if we get relegated which i think most would accept, although a 27,000 seater stadium in league 2 is hardly gonna set the world alight people wont come back, they say they will but wont talk is cheap, no disrespect to any of the clubs down there but its something i never thought i would see.
  • It's clear to anyone that has been watching us of late, none of the players want to be playing for us or at this level (bar Holmes, Jacko, Solly).

The sooner they leave the better, disgrace! I just hope we manage to stay up and we can go again.

  • On our way home.

Second match this week and I'm afraid the hope of play offs I harboured a month or two back, to the acceptance of mid table mediocrity last month has now been replaced with a horrible dark realisation that we are very likely to go down.

I felt some twinge of hope that at least we scored a few at Shrewsbury and that the disinterested players may come good, but this afternoon that faint hope has been thoroughly pissed on and extinguished.

Such poor skills and so few 50/50 balls won and such little drive, enthusiasm or teamwork has now ended my season. These shylocks have no heart. With maybe three exceptions, as KR said the boys who have come up - not the boys who have come down.

It's sickening what KM has done to our club. I mean that literally. I feel like I have an upset stomach when I think of Charlton Athletic FC, that performance today and all the crap surrounding our club.

Weekends are supposed to be fun. Well done KM - you don't know me, you never will and never could understand this Charlton fanatic, but I'll never forget you.

    Or forgive.

Never mind the football, we know that is a lost cause, just keep posting the tweets, at least we will have something to smile about

  • Let's not make Northampton a place that Charlton have to go and get three points every time /s
  • Unfortunately, if we do get relegated, I can't see him selling, as he won't get anywhere near HIS acceptable amount as a League 2 club.
Does anyone happen to know if he cut his losses at SL or any other club?

Yes, I was sitting in front of one that actually celebrated Northampton's winner!

Was there any more or just one ?
What a disgrace , surely the fan was being sarcastic , surely he stood motionless when we equalised ,how loud was his cheer for their first goal
  • More than one person celebrated Northampton scoring a winner unfortunately.
There are those among us that believe Roland will sell if we go down.
Personally i think the opposite is true and he will only sell should we get back to the championship. That's the only way he can get what he believes is a realistic price.

Oh and as we're not going to get promotion this season i believe we are stuck with the idiot for a time
  • Actually going to Northampton and celebrating them scoring. Pathetic

To be honest, I couldn't agree more. Something I would never contemplate or support.
