Couldn't see one.

Holmes on the bench, did he get a knock or is this just tinker time again?

    ---------Rudd

    Byrne Konsa Teixeira Page

    -----Crofts Ulvestad

    --Holmes Aribo Chicksen

    ---------Watt

This is my guess. Could also be Aribo wide right and Holmes through the middle.

Or maybe Chicksen RB with Byrne and Aribo on the wings if he really wants to fanny around with the team.

Ignore the above, KR has done his usual interview and confirmed my first guess.

Back to the 'players not sure what they're quite doing' formation.

Give me JJ with a wooden leg rather than Mr Crofts - remember how he let McAleny run 30 yards and score without making a challenge. And he doesn't have JJs gift of the gab.

Watt really is not a lone front man. Was hoping he'd start to get his confidence/ form back after scoring the pen. But doubt it now.

    I would rather we played:
    Rudd
    Byrne Teixeira Konsa Chicksen
    Ulvestad Crofts Aribo
    Holmes
    Novak Watt

I watched Robinson's tactical revelations video but couldn't make out what he said.
    That'll confuse the opposition.

    Tactical masterstroke.

4-4-2 diamond with Crofts holding could work. Byrne and Chicksen are good enough to get up and down the wings.

"Why is it called Cemetery Lane?" March51 would ask me on every single trip to The Valley. After 20 years, my answer would remain the same.

"I've no idea. Should be called Football Pitch Lane," I would respond.

"Perhaps Dairy Lane / Closed Down Dairy Lane / Charlton Park Care Centre Used To Be A Dairy Lane" he would offer.

Today, were he to ask me, I would say it's because of its close proximity to The Valley.

I accept, as entrances go, this was a fairly morbid one. Still, the only way is up! Today we play a club whose play-off hopes are contingent on beating us. So on the bright side, if we were to lose, at least they'd be closing on Millwall.

Again, I am struggling to find joviality with this post. So I'll just leave it there. I'll be relaying the words of the commentary team today, but first, I must buy a sandwich and a Cherry Coke. BRB.
