But the Aussies do have the money. The EFL have told us they do by completing their tests. That’s not to say they are willing to spend it on Duchatelets over inflated price but they do have the funds. Not only that. Duchatelet would want assurances from banks before he embarked on the final stages of a sale. The yellow toothed old git won’t turn on a lightbulb never mind engage lawyers on a non existent sale.

Not off, just on hold until Duchatelet lowers his asking price. At some point he’s going to have to cut his losses. What other alternatives are there apart from some mug agreeing to pay in excess if £40m
MrDick given Oz 5 year plan will cost £150m-£200m how much do you think RD will need to discount to facilitate a deal? He has already lost about £20m by under-valuing Gomez and Lookman by selling them too soon. The Oz lot could make similar mistakes, hopefully not of that magnitude.
