Please guys do not give JamesSeed. He can only pass on what he can in good faith. I know we are all frustrated as we want a takeover done and rid of RD but it is not James fault. Pls be patient with him. Sometimes we let our frustrations getting the better of us (including me) and have a go at the wrong people. I am trying my hardest not to say what I really think of RD, however if I was to put down what I think of him I will probably get a lifetime ban !!
Ok, it’s not earth shattering of course... It’s possible that one Aussie investor is fed up with the waiting game. Probably a key investor. May want to set deadline to force some sort of conclusion, or may have done already. Especially with the ‘European’ consortium showing interest.
And the same family issues apply this year as last year, for GM, although missing that window is not critical for the bid overall. GM, after post Wembley conversations, has gone very quiet which I hope is a good sign, so this ‘info’ comes from my other source, who has been accurate in the past. Of course anything could have changed since I received it a couple of days ago.
i was feeling pretty negative about anything happening, and this possibly improves the likelihood of progress, a little bit. It may also potentially increase the chances of the bid collapsing. Quite nervous about passing on even limited info for obvious reasons.
Thank you for passing on what you know - at last.
The original, cryptic, ‘teaser’ post is exactly what winds some people up. The ‘I know something you don’t’ style of post does you no good and invites abuse IMHO.

Go for it mate on the other hand you could get a promote! 😉.
If I was to say it’s a crucial ten days for the Aussies would you lot crucify me if nothing happens?
James, you posted a cryptic message at 8.12pm. A number of posters asked you if you are able to say anymore which I assume you have seen and ignored. It's now 11.07pm. No wonder some people get pissed off with you.
@Rudders22 I understand what you're saying but it has been 12 hours since James posted his initial cryptic, winky face, message. Now we get the actual information. For some people, mysef included, who are hanging on any thread of hope about a takeover, this is playing silly power games.
I hope in some ways the Aussies do walk. I've always had the feeling that, despite their procrastination, RD has always seen the Aussies as his 'safety' while he pursues other options/prices/payments with the Rest of The World because he believes they will always be there as a last resort. If his safety were to disappear he might suddenly be reminded of the the English proverb 'A bird in the hand' and pull his finger out before everyone walks

Seems like they are about as good as Teresa May at negotiating. Like TM they have not told RD that they would walk away with No Deal & so he knows that he has them on the back burner when one by one other suitors pull out.
Thanks @JamesSeed for sharing what you've been told.
But Jim White told me 'there you have it, you should be happy', the straight talking man of football couldnt be wrong? Could he?
“Get your head around the idea that Roland will be gone shortly Charlton fans”
”I can now reveal that over the next 48 hours charlton fans, Roland will be gone”
What a pillock that man is.
Pillock in this context being a rat fellating louse who (presumably) gets paid to shout at a handful of people about stuff he knows the square root of naff all on a very minor radio station. Not worth the steam off my micturition
Wow . The hatred you have for everyone astonishes me .
You’re way off. Hatred is a nihilistic emotion that clouds the mind. It would encumber one’s ability to succinctly vilify the witless, hypocritical or venal. Command of a florid and wounding lexicon is far more successful from a calm, focused mind.
Maybe it's would be good if all interested parties were to make take it or leave it offers now. Even if they all end up walking, it will end this tedious and endless stand-off and we can just stare the enemy in the face

I hope you're right but you're pinning a lot on Roland being a rational man.
Whilst the Aussies appear to not have the money to push us forward without mortgaging the assets and seemingly have dithered and dragged their feet throughout, maybe just maybe it isn't their fault. Maybe Muir and @JamesSeed's bestie thought it was all but done when they rocked up publicly at that game in May 2018. They probably thought after months of negotiations that things were nearly done and it was time to go public. But could it be that Roland has continually mucked them around and investors have dropped out due to the moving of the goalposts and the owner being a snide duplicitous plum, resetting the bid and leaving RM having to scramble to keep them interested. The fact that the bid still exists is remarkable and proves that Muir cares about the club, otherwise he would have given up a long time a go.
The above is just a whimsical notion that just occurred to me, probably completely wrong. Anyway I just want rid of Roly and I mainly only care that the new people get us and our club, that they care and want to push forward together, lots of money would be a happy bonus though.

Lol. You’re forgetting that I repeated Aussies’ statement about ‘next two weeks are critical’ once, and got dog’s abuse, despite the words not being my own. My trepidation should hardly be a surprise.
For those giving Mr Seed stick he said quite clearly "If I was to say it’s a crucial ten days for the Aussies would you lot crucify me if nothing happens?".
That to me says the Aussies have told him the next ten days are critical.
If I’m going on what Jimmy Seed has said, I reckon the Aussies have given Duchatelet an ultimatum. You either accept our deal as it is or we’re walking away coz we’re fed up with the games
Has this other source been inaccurate in the past as well as accurate ?
No. Not factually inaccurate. It’s the inferences that we draw that are the issue. I post that the Aussies say the next two weeks are crucial, and all hell breaks loose. Perfectly accurate info, but some people got a bit carried away ;-)

Sorry mate I appreciate your news as much as anyone but these cryptic messages help no one
Absolute radio silence from all IDK (This will result in loads of posters panicking that nothing is happening and will demand to hear news for their sanity) until there is a takeover on the verge of completion, or would people prefer the slightest bit of news regardless of how cryptic it might be as at least we'll know that there is something happening in the background?
All we know is that none of the genuine IDK's will be able to win as whatever they do will be micro analysed

That’s roughly the way I see it, although the investment in lawyers’ fees would also make it harder to walk away imho.

It wasn’t cryptic. As others have said it was pretty straightforward.
Has this other source been inaccurate in the past as well as accurate ?

Problem is though if the next two weeks are crucial, then the next 10 days and then the week after that, then those first two weeks weren’t actually as crucial were they? And that’s what happened, it’s been repetitive and turned out to be seemingly false.
That being said, your just passing on what you hear and don’t deserve stick. But can’t blame people for being sceptical and quite frankly sick of false downs. Not your fault obviously.

That to me says the Aussies have told him the next ten days are critical.
Is there really any explanation needed?
Some of you need to calm down.
It’s the inferences that we draw that are the issue. I post that the Aussies say the next two weeks are crucial, and all hell breaks loose. Perfectly accurate info, but some people got a bit carried away ;-)
One of their investors walking away?
The whole lot walking away?
Roland telling them to sling there hooks as even by his standards this is taking too long?
A critical 10 days until the next critical 10 days?
Tells us absolutely nothing, as per usual.
He hates Charlton, and he hates the fans.
He knows the fans want him to sell the club, so this is his payback to us.
The demonstration in Belgium, the negative publicity he has attracted, and the personal abuse directed at him and his family.
For a billionaire it is probably worth the money he is losing just to get even with us, and continually winding us up.
