I think the bottom line is that as long as we retain our Championship status it doesn’t really matter now what happens this season. If there are not very exciting plans to rebuild the team that we can all see over the summer then questions can justifiably be asked then. Let’s just hope that our key injured players can come back and make an impact and that our signings plug the gaps.
Personally, I think this is quite an important moment, and whether the new owners replace Keohane or retain him sends a big signal. Regardless of his competency or lack of it, he’s a symbol of the distrust we had for the Duchatelet regime and he’s representative of the attitude that held the fans in such contempt. If ESI truly want to build bridges with the fan base, offloading this revolting stormtrooper would be a decent step in the right direction.

Whilst I agree it'd be a great way to appease some fans, has he actually done anything to deserve being fired? You can't just terminate someone's employment because some people don't like em.

I didn’t say fire him. There’s more than one way to offload someone. I don’t think the situation would involve getting on the wrong side of employment law by firing a member of staff for no reason. Surely in the context of football ownership, the position of COO is one where new owners would be expected to bring their own man in? Ok, so he may need paying off, but I don’t think it’s the minefield you’re suggesting.
So I was due to meet a couple of mates in Bartram's at 12.30 before the game yesterday, but for some reason (not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere) it was closed. As I pulled my phone out to text my mate to tell him, a lovely club-employee lady stepped out of main reception, asked if I was trying to get into Bartram's, told me it was closed, and then gave me three free tickets to the Millennium lounge. We had a very comfortable drink up there. Hospitality at it's finest. Would never have happened if RD had still been the owner!

Apparently you were able to visit the Millennium Lounge just by showing your ticket. Or so I was told.
Has Burger Boy done anything to get him fired you ask ? Well maybe im a tad bias here I have to say but , how about employing goons with no ID who then go on to attack the clubs fans ?
reversing the question --- has he ever done anything to warrant his position ?

He'd have to agree to that though, with the reputation he's built whilst here, I can see why he might not want to.

Spot on. You could also argue that the toxic relationship between Keohane and fans (remember the filming of fans too) is detrimental to one of the key aims of the new owners, namely to rebuild fan engagement.
I mean this looks a bit "Rory Stewart pretending to hold the camera", let's be honest.
Though obviously the sentiment is great, and I'll be there Saturday.
Its the same simple rhetoric that we've seen before - Its designed to get fickle fans onboard with the new venture; Michael Slater was another who used the OS as a blog at times, giving updates about himself etc.
Its by far the easiest way to get onside with fans and its baffling why we didnt see it from the Belgians!!

Because to them we weren't fans, just customers, whose input, financial or otherwise, was unimportant.
