Genuinely have tears in my eyes......forget Christmas and my shortly coming up 70th birthday........just let this happen to make life worthwhile again.
I just want some faces around the place that I can look straight in the eye and be proud of once again.
The Valley has been toxic these last few years and now, please god, the decontamination process can begin.39 -
Be nice to see him back on the mic for home gamesricky_otto said:38 -
This isn't some kind of rumour put about to stop people going over to Belgium and putting the dampeners on Duchatelets birthday bash on 14th November?
We know he doesn't like to be disturbed on that day when having the sharing platter with his chums in his favourite window seat.4 -
It’ll get to next week, be delayed, ‘sources’ go quiet, takeover rumours die down anddddd start again ...4

Not getting my hopes up:23

I feel like we should all go and mill about outside the ground, but I'm busy. Can anyone go and stand in for me?6

I posted 8 minutes ago and the deal doesn't seem to have progressed any further in that time. So sick of this shit.50

Ah that's why Leon Best hasn't signed yet and next week is going to be a big week for him........it all makes sense now!!!!!!0

Refuse to get my hopes up until it's completed and I see the words

I haven't had my hopes raised this high since just before that time I was told I had a great personality....5

How great it would be before Dec 5! I can make myself available at short notice to help Katrien clear her desk (and Murray's).3

is it weird that this gave me a semi?AFKABartram said:Refuse to get my hopes up until it's completed and I see the words

Has she actually been seen around lately, I know she has been told to keep her mouth shut (3 years too late), but has she been seen?AFKABartram said:Refuse to get my hopes up until it's completed and I see the words

Don't get your hopes up until whatever this is - is officially done. The takeovers complete and it's also confirmed that the "new owners", Aussies or whatever, are not a massive pile of crap themselves.
Which might take some time.
At the moment we are producing play off worthy results and things are strangely a tiny bit more settled then usual.
I hope we keep the manager and the bulk of our current squad post January.
We need promotion.
I wish to be in a celebratory mood but the reality is things are always more shit then what you imagine.
The problem we may simply face is "Roland Residue"
Even though he's gone. He's left a right f*cking mess...which is gana take ages to clear up.

Great news but I'm not getting excited until it's done and dusted.1

She might not be in yet, let alone step down!AFKABartram said:Refuse to get my hopes up until it's completed and I see the words

No chance. I will have drowned in a bath of champagne long before that.Dave2l said:Don't get your hopes up until whatever this is - is officially done. The takeovers complete and it's also confirmed that the "new owners", Aussies or whatever, are not a massive pile of crap themselves.

It is guaranteed he will leave a mess. That's why the majority want him gone before it becomes too late.Dave2l said:Don't get your hopes up until whatever this is - is officially done. Could be argued this season calmer because he and his sidekick have given up.2 -
Rick the least you could do is offer Katrina a Saturday job selling the Voice.7

It’s not, it’s my neighbour upstairs and the rowing machine has been the stumbling block and why it’s taken so long.Pelling1993 said:Do we know if it is the Aussie consortium or otherwise yet?
That’s now been resolved, she’s bringing it with her as part of the deal, and has got herself an office above Karl’s.5 -
So excited I almost had to nip off for a celebratory w@#k!4

Hasn't yet been denied by a certain someone on SE7 Valiants. Then last few times she has been straight on it batting it down. Will wait till this evening to see if she comments. If not that may be a sign.12
