Or is he just someone who guessed something right a while ago and his kudos grew from that.

OK, I have never claimed to be ITK before. And I have never claimed to have a hotline to any "sources" within - or outside - the club. Until now.
I can confirm that I have received information that sheds some light on the slightly convoluted statement that was released yesterday.
In short, I can confirm that there are two potential buyers. And that a price has been agreed. But it's the two buyers that have agreed the price. With each other.13 -

Because someone answers in a way that doesn’t suit you doesn’t mean he isn’t he isn’t genuine. My best man and godfather to my son, best mate for 34 years and well known in the city. Some people have discretion, and do not abuse there people’s trust.carly burn said:Does anyone actually know who RedHenry is?

It's up to each of us to decide who we can/can't believe on a forum like this and that is certainly made harder when we dont 'know' who everyone is, but asking who knows the bloke IRL, seems, to me, a little creepy. If redhenry wanted it known who he is, I'm sure he would have said do himself.carly burn said:

This. Went to Sainsbury's with the missus last week to do the weekly shop. Filled the trolley up to the brim and agreed a price with each other of £4.32 after negotiating with each other.Chizz said:OK, I have never claimed to be ITK before. Just waiting to see if the seller will accept it but it's pretty much any imminent done deal according to our lawyers and the kids will be putting out an official statement ahead of Sunday dinner.4 -

This reads like potential purchasers can't meet Duchatelets asking price, even if it is miles too high.Redhenry said:I have some clarity on the situation. Price had been agreed with two parties ie the price that will get the deal over the line. But neither party has met this.
My pessimism is fuelled by this and my thoughts that he wants the whole of the staprix debt cleared despite the reckless way it was created.
Seems like square one to me.
Who is running the gaff in the meantime?
We are still in the same situation as we were before we were going to protest and demand Murray speaks to us. Yes he has spoken but in terms that keep us hanging on in hope when there may be none. Wind forward another couple of months where he has made two further statments giving bland 'it's all ticking along but you know what lawyers are like' and we are at the end of the season. No protests, still no further forward.
Let's face it, if Murray has got any sense he will realise that a significant proportion of fans have had it with him. So it makes no odds if he carries on as Roland's mouthpiece and weakens the resolve to protest. No-one agrees to pay the price he wants and, now weary, fans become like St Truiden fans - still hate him but too knackered to do anything about it.4 -

Seth you last question is key, as there are numerous contracts to issue / renew, pre season arrangements and potential new signings to entice. With the club essentially on lock down and that continues to drag, any early planning for next season goes out the window. It's already effected the last transfer window and and continues to delay the academy cat 1 status. Would have been nice if Murray could have outlined any points on this. Albeit I know subjective.seth plum said:

“The terms of the deal, including the price, have now been agreed between the parties and we are now just waiting for their respective lawyers to finalise the sale and purchase agreement.”Leeds_Addick said:How could RM know it will be done in a few weeks if neither party has met the asking price yet.
That quote from Murray is not consistent with Redhenry’s version that the parties have not agreed to pay the price. I don’t think RH is setting out to mislead anyone - if you get your information from only one place it will inevitably reflect that party’s understanding and not that of others. It’s all useful information.
I do think there may be scepticism on RD’s part about whether payment will be forthcoming in practice, which would help explain two parties being involved at this stage, but It’s highly unlikely they haven’t indicated a willingness to pay it based on what the club is saying. Murray would stand to look ridiculous if that was the case and he has no incentive to put himself in that situation.11
