Murray was in the directors box yesterday but not in his usual seat. The directors box was, i'm told, very full, which hasnt been the case for a while. My feeling is it won't be monday but maybe later in the week.
Is it the case that it's all over and we're just waiting for the announcement? If so, then it will be tomorrow. If there's still a few details too sort out then Monday is presumably a bit unlikely.
If anyone needs me to state the completely obvious on any other issues, please just ask.

Not that it matters when now, but I Still reckon Thursday, last banking day and (for most) end of financial year, RD’s last commitments for this month, clean slate for new owners.
Guy on Valley Express yesterday (first time I've used it) - who seemed vaguely ITK - said he was certain of Monday and that Paul Elliott would be the CEO - not Chairman...
Is he qualified for that position? Remember the last one we had.

Stating the obvious on one thing at a time is enough thanks

Missed out the smiley thingy !!
Don't worry, as a matter of policy I imagine a smiley thing on the end of every post directed at me. It even turns being invited for a fight into playful banter.

I go in via the players entrance and as I was going in there were 2 guys and a lady coming out. I held the door open for them and both guys thanked me with an unmistakeable antipodean twang. Once the game kicked off the first bloke, hereafter referred to as Bruce, and his Sheila were in the Directors box.
Could just be coincidence or a couple of visitors. Who knows. I guess we’ll all find out soon
So, that was Bruce and Sheila but your name's not Bruce. That's gonna cause a bit of confusion.

What reason does he have to wait? If you're thinking a play-off win that could be a further payment should it happen. Potential buyers won't wait around forever.
Good article. The only thing I took issue with was this line: 'Charlton have been stripped down to their core – around 5,000 apathetic season-ticket holders have long since departed, weary, fed up, gone to another club or perhaps another pastime all together. It’s hard to blame them'. It makes the drop in ST sales appear entirely passive and negative. That may be true for many, maybe most, of those who no longer attend. But for a good number of us absence isn't about giving up, absence is about fighting back. It is a sign on love for the club and determination to do what we consider was the best thing given the circumstances. Not renewing wasn't a sign of surrender or of not caring - and in no way was it about having a new team to support. It was about making a proactive decision as to how we could most effectively force the owner's hand to sell.

As a commodity cafc has a greater sell value in the championship so if he has agreed a price and we are down the line then either he has added a different value on the club depending on league or he will wait until the league position is determined
Now up until Thursday last week there were two buyers on Thursday a third appeared and came back in
Then it was announced that 1 had won and the deal will be done Monday or tuesday
Now for me it’s a bit ground hog day and although I trust what’s been shared with me and those sharing it nothing is done until it’s done and we have had so many false dawns that I don’t want to belive anything until it’s announced from the club itself
Great piece in the link above from the telegraph with a word of caution at the end that we may wish to heed
Maybe old Roland putting out story of Aussies deal done to get others to close deal. Aussies been around for a year, suddenly Andrew Muir is involved? For how much? Who else is investing? Lots of bluff and double bluff going on here I would assume. WIOTOS

And I wouldn't bank 100% on the Aussies getting it over the line if it's purely down to the final bids.
