  • It isn't a good bet because it is so unpredicatble.

At last a legitimate reason to hate Milton Jones the self-proclaimed born again christian who has based a career on a shirt and his hair and is now rich enough as a result to not give a fuck what happens to the NHS or social care.
Bet you wouldn't be saying that if he'd of converted to islam
No, calling a convert to islam a born again christian would be fucking stupid. Try to keep up.
    Stop being so aggressive, @Wheresmekeyboard

    ; )
    Oh Rob, behave.
    Sorry

This is not a dating site, and Shine is very much unfemale
  • Oh wait, my first post on Election Day wasn't supposed to be that, it was supposed to be some sort of fearsome war-cry with starred-out expletives everywhere. Ah well

Unfemale being the new gender neutral word?

Hard to see Labour getting more than 260-270 seats. So even if they overperform, they will be significantly smaller than the Tories.

How long would a party like that likely be in power for before we do it all again?

They'd have to be backed by all the other parties in parliament, which, apart from the lib dems are all proudly left wing. So I can see it happening.
Somebody better tell the DUP then....

Bugger, just seen @cafcfan was, as usual, ahead of me.
  • That's it. I have voted.

Okay you've persuaded me I'm voting Labour ;)

Emily Wilding Davison died on this day 104 years ago

Jarvis Cocker played on audio recording of a gentleman who witnessed her throwing herself under the horse on his 6 music radio show on Sunday.

I wonder if they are going to think we are so stupid in 100 years? Returning a government with a terrible record, the most vague manifesto and the worst election campaign in living memory with an increased majority.

  • Waiting to take off in PRG. Expecting a Tory majority of at least 75 seats, because of their successful use of Facebook with ads and messages most of us will never have seen. It's not illegal. and other parties can do it, but I am not sure it is democracy either.
  • Fingers crossed.

  • I still think it will be a Tory majority unfortunately but the people are rising. Won't be long if it keeps up this way. Expect a closer battle or Lab majority in 5 years if trend continues.

It's easy to see why Corbyn leans heavily to the left...

  • I suspect labour will do very well. I wouldnt be surprised if their was a labour minority with the SNP.

I'm not being argumentative here, but people say that the right wing press has such a big influence and I'm sure it does.

Yet newspaper sales have diminished massively, so I can't see how they were as influential as in the past.

I know some read them online, but I think overall readership numbers are well down.

Personally, I think historically the BBC were often favourable to Labour, but these days I feel they are balanced overall.

    Stop arguing ;-)
  • Love Corbyn. Vote Labour

I agree and moreover you are hardly likely to be a regular Daily Mail or Guardian reader and then suddenly be shocked on election day by their editorial stance.
  • Where's the poll!? Where's the poll?!
  • Vote for hope.
    Vote for a change.
Vote for the many. Not the few.

    ie not Tory

If a vote for Labour is for the many and a vote for Tory is for the few.

Then without doubt it will be a Labour landslide today.
  • @newyorkaddick what is you modelling saying? Correct me if I'm wrong but not seen much in the way of predictions from you the last few days. Fancy sticking your neck out?
