People can go on about what Labour or Corbyn would be like. But he didn't call this snap election. However he stepped up to the plate and fought the fight, what choice did he have? I feel no sympathy for Theresa May because I think she was going for a cynical grab for power.
Progressive alliance nowhere near enough once you add DUP into the mix.
Still leaves a choice between a Tory party in a mess and a party (or coalition) with less seats than them.
Quite simply - we are in deadlock. Nothing will get done.
We will need another election and frankly from a Brexit perspective we would have been better off with a Labour majority / largest party.
Okay okay, I'll ask it: Is the underlying deadlock here Brexit? And if so, should there not be another referendum?
Full disclosure, I would have voted Remain. But also, something I'm big on is the fact that democracy is not intended to be permanent, and thus this huge and unpredictable shift feels odd on a one-off yay or nay.
You can throw things at me for bringing this up at half 3 in the morning.

Vote share up 20%. Incredible.
