    a play off spot is the minimum to expect with the current squad. anything less would be abject failure.

    They have to think about all of the fans who have already got Crofts 8 on the back of their shirt.

    Oi Canters, both Bobby Moore and Norman 'bites yer legs' Hunter used to wear number six in the 4-3-3 days of the 60's and 70's.

    No squad numbers for Hanlan, Umerah, Lapslie or Edwards.

    Slightly surprised re Hanlan as he must have had one when he played last season. Maybe he is off on loan which would be good I think.
