    Then you don't appreciate cricket. He may be an arse sometimes, even a lot of the time, but no one living knows more about cricket than him.
    Knowing 'more about cricket' doesnt make him a good broadcaster, and tbh, how Harvey Thistlethwaite used to bat/bowl in 1930's has little bearing on todays game and zero interest with most of the cricket watching public.
    Well something must make him a good broadcaster, that is why as soon as he finished playing he was snapped up by the BBC, Sky, C4, C9 and now BT Sport, not to mention the TV companies of India and S Africa amongst others.
    He's used by the likes of S Africa and India because he's the odd Englishman who is controversial and they can take the piss out of - they certainly did in SA when i lived there.

    First session ive been able to watch on stream, and a few observations...
    Swann is shit - get him off.
    The second stint of commentators is Ponting and Gilchrist - no English, talking Oz bollocks - wouldnt happen with Sky.
    Why arent Jimmy and Broady bowling after lunch , especially with them 7 down.
    Ali giving Cummins an easy one with a deep mid-on - makes no sense.

    Hell of a lot of work for Broad and Anderson already early on in this series.

    My worry prior to this series was not our batting as much as our bowling. If these two can't keep it up, and it'll be difficult considering their age and toll this could take on their bodies, then we are bang in trouble!

    The Cummins innings took its mental toll. It was a combination, and the former exacerbated the latter.
