45-0 off 15 at drinks. Great start but a vulnerable time immediately after drinks as evidenced by the number of times batsmen get out in the first over after them.
Opening partnership of 100+ needed to put some pressure on their bowlers. I don’t see it happening but as Geoff Boycott said it’s a funny old game (or am I getting mixed up?)
@Riviera will love that one. Cook got well forward, ball looks like it could have been sliding down leg - 99% benefit of the doubt to the batsman in club cricket.
Got away with one. Top edge from Stoneman inches short of being caught. As fellow off-spinner @Leuth rightly noted, Lyon is scary.
Turns it almost as much as me. Bowls a couple of mph quicker and maybe hits better areas. Oh look here's a review
Can’t resist a nibble at that one. I think you do yourself an injustice as you have more variation than Lyon - in particular the surprise beamer over the batsman’s head. In fact it’s only your stubborn refusal to bat left-handed that is keeping Moeen in the England side ahead of you.

This is what he put up when Cook and Stoneman were going well
