I bumped into three Wednesday supporting mates I know at a beer festival earlier this year. They are very worried about the combination of a naive, inexperienced foreign owner and Katrien Meire as CEO.
One of them asked, plaintively, whether she might possibly have learnt anything from her repeated cock-ups at Charlton. I assured him that she had not and that they were right to be worried.
