Reading between the lines (which could actually mean nothing at all ... ), it sounds like the player has been agitating for a loan to get game time. And the Palace management has now sweetened up by saying, okay what about a place on the bench tomorrow?

Oh dear. Some really ignorant comments on this thread, such as - Signing Kaikai on loan is scraping the bottom of the barrel, because he's a Palace player, or he's on loan, or he started his career at lower league clubs. Try ITTV, you'll fit in just fine there.
You're normally a reasonably sensible poster CE, but rather than slag ITTV off on the subject of Kaikai, I suggest you have a look for yourself and you will see no one is moaning about signing this player, in fact it's far more positive than on here!
My first look at that ITTV site (thanks Al). Who is the loudmouth Reams & whats his Usename on here ? He doesn’t like Charlton fans much
We’re not sure. It could be any number of people on here.

Still it's pretty good for them. At least it's the same sport.
Looks like that loan spell with us did him good.
Result: loan move now cancelled?
I was picking up on Macronate's post.
I needed to quickly find a scapegoat. It's the Charlton Life way.
To be fair to me, Sky still showing him as sub among the other 7 names listed.
We can all see that.
Reading that we are fortunate if we assign him.
