If a couple of Pakistan cricketers were caught cheating like this they would be given lengthy bans. I hope that the Australian pair are both banned for 12 months.
I suppose one of the lessons to be learnt is that if you want to use something to tamper the ball with and want to disguise it with something else in your pocket, at least make sure its the same colour!

Probably first time. There are so many cameras at Test matches these days. I'm pretty sure the TV companies employ one guy to spy on players rather than film the action.

cheating bastards. From painting the crease line bigger in the Ashes to this latest "indiscretion" . Smith should be stripped of the captaincy & then he & Bancroft banned for 5 games. Leaman should also be sacked by Cricket Australia.

To do it is bad, but to also say you all discussed it and decided to give it a go and then go ahead and do it is unforgivable. Let alone the attempt to hide the yellow tape when you thought had been spotted and try to deceive the umpire with a ‘what do you mean, just a black cloth in here sir’ routine is shocking.

Yes, the camera man whose previous duty was to seek out the lovely ladies, has now had to be redeployed, since the demise of the walk on girls at the darts.
Root and Bayliss have been massively lucky. First of all the weather has completely knocked the stuffing out of the Test, and then the Aussies have ensured that our match is completely overshadowed...

Well at least he brought up his own indiscretion, and at least he was man enough to do it himself rather that passing it on to the junior member of the team. Mind you although he was charged he never admitted he was cheating, just trying to keep his hands dry...

I am not saying anything! Just putting over a different point of view.

Nobody has because its highly unlikely. The reason why an experienced played did it was that he was coerced by his captain, not the other way round.
