How depressing and such a sorry state everything surrounding our club is in.
I’ve got a free season ticket, but I don’t think I’ll be coming back until Roland has finally decided to fuck off for good. I’m exhausted with it all to be honest.
On my commute this morning I realised I was standing next to Ben Reeves and Jason Pearce.
This was a depressing start to the day, as: (1) Their choice of clothing implied they hadn’t decided to give up football for a career in the City (2) It reminded me we had a match tonight (3) I couldn’t think of anything remotely positive or encouraging to say to them. The only phrase that went through my mind was “please try not to be quite as shit as normal”.
So we journeyed in silence. Was that bad?
I'm blaming you then, @AshBurton. Call that a team talk?!

Surely he is looking to get sacked making these comments. No other club would accept their manager slagging of the owner like this (good on him though!!).
Strange how week in week out KR has said that he knows nothing about the takeover and now drops this grenade into his presser after a spineless, gutless performance. Blame it on the takeover! Smoke and mirrors.

In some respects I feel sorry for KR as all the fans want is the owner to go & KR knows that when he does the new owners will be getting rid of him as well.
HOWEVER, saying that players careers are on the line because of the uncertainty is utter bullshit. The best way a player can secure his future (at this or a new club in the summer) is to play well, give 100% and TRY. The players are doing the complete opposite & only have themselves to blame if they are not offered new contracts in the summer. Players like Reeves & Marshall we brought it on good money & neither have looked anything more than a bang average League 1 player.
Listening to the first 30 secs of the interview KR said that their game plan was knackered because he had to make early changes & therefore couldn't make the subs he had planned for in the last 30 mins. I've got news for you Mr Robinson, play the right players from the start, get a 2 goal lead & then you can make changes & rest players who might have niggles. Be pro-active first, not re-active later. PRICK.
Again he moans that Peterborough have a 20 goal striker who scored in the last minute AGAIN, and we don't. I've got news for you Mr Robinson, you could have got him in the summer but you insisted on bringing in wingers & midfielders. PRICK
He than apologised for not clapping the fans, saying that its not like him as he always does. I've got news for you Mr Robinson you & the team didn't do it at home v Shrewsbury or last Saturday. PRICK
Amos: 6(MotM), seems weird but I think he stopped it being a lot worse than it could have been Solly: 2.5 Bauer: 3 Pearce: 3 Page: n/a Sarr: 2 Konsa: 3 Reeves: 1.5 Forster-Caskey: 2 Fosu-Henry: 3 Magennis: 3.5 Zyro:2.5 Aribo:3 Marshall: n/a
We weren't good - very bad, in fact, but this is completely demented. The defence were good! The goal was Amos' fault! What's going on?
In the match thread someone posted that we are "a steaming pile of dog shite"
For me the post of the day by a long shot.
Talking of long shots did we actually have any?
That was your post of the day, was it?
No not really. I was just letting off steam. Living over the other side of the world I so appreciate the comments and pre-match summary etc.
The evening games mean I follow the pain through the morning NZ time. What a waste of time and it's all Karl and Roland's fault and the team they put together. Evening games are better. I just wake up in the morning, find out the bad news and have another cup of tea.
As others have said, I feel there are some predictable diversionary tactics being deployed here by Robinson - hence the prattling on about the takeover uncertainty in an attempt to deflect attention from a performance in which we were outplayed by a team who haven't won at home for five months, who dominated possession and who had 16 corners to our 1.
I didn't see the game but even a Charlton side depleted by injury should have been able to make a better fist of it than that - all of which suggests that Robinson has run out of ideas and that he's incapable of getting anything approaching the best out of these players. I also wonder about the contribution of his very inexperienced coaching team of Jacko and Bowyer. For whatever reason, our players are woefully underperforming and, whilst confidence is obviously low, the general sense from those unfortunate enough to be there tonight is that there was a general lack of drive, determination and a will to win throughout the side.
There is absolutely no point in sacking Robinson now, although the chances of him being in charge next next August must be pretty minute - takeover or no takeover. If the club is sold, any new owner will have a major rebuilding job to do, given that a number of the better performers will be returning to their clubs in May and there are going to be some very big additional holes in what is already a patently inadequate and underperforming squad.
As the inimitable Kevin Nolan put it in his last match report - we are a club with a proud past, a decaying present and an uncertain future. We are also a club with a vert fatigued set of supporters who, by and large, can't wait for another hugely disappointing season to end and to be rid of our dreadful absentee owner.
Very poor performance tonight when we were all expecting a positive reaction to the heavy defeat on Saturday. Can't recall their keeper having to make a save. All those bigging up Reeves please tell me what he offered tonight. The bloke is a lightweight and luxury which we don't need, bin him off please and as fir Zoro I wouldn't put your house on seeing him at the World Cup! Sad to say but that's me done for the season 11 away games W 6 D2 L3 there is no way I can watch us just go through the motions at Northampton and Shrewsbury. Roland and his circus, including Robinson OUT!
Comments
This needs addressing urgently tomorrow and if a takeover isn't coming in the forseable future then protests in Belgium must be ramped up.

Indoors with the rugby.
Richard Murray told you a fib
So out of character.
Looked it up well after 10 having said to the wife we will have lost it's just a case of the score. She said 1-0 and sure enough.
Will we finish below the 14th we finished in 1973/74 our worst since seeking re-election in 1925/26?
Far more chance of that than top 6 I fancy. My tip now is 13th.

Had enough of thinking about that shower of sh** that masquerades as a football team.
