I'm sure he said in that interview, "iv never played my best team " I'd be intrigued to know what he thinks that is ! Has he got 11 other players we know nothing about.
All Season I have considered our squad to be among the best in the league. What has happened,I do not think one player is now playing as well as he did at the start,at one stage many games ago,I felt we were close to getting our Charlton back, but its gone and there looks to be no hope of any improvement.Even, bearing in mind crap tactics, behind the scenes disruption, etc.,surely the players could take some responsibility, and put in a shift. The hardy souls who went to Blackpool were rewarded with Just one corner all night, that is pitiful.
I'm sure he said in that interview, "iv never played my best team " I'd be intrigued to know what he thinks that is ! Has he got 11 other players we know nothing about.
I can only imagine it will be one that includes Reeves, Marshall & Pearce as they didn't start the season - and if they did would mean playing with 6 midfielders & no striker. You can't play everyone you dumb fuck.
Now is the time to reflect on all that guff Robinson said when he arrived about making every player proud to wear the shirt and that whatever the result we would recognise that they all gave their all for the supporters and the club etc.
We have all had to endure his media clap-trap when it's been blatantly obvious to anyone with half-a-brain that he hasn't really got a Scooby about tactics or playing to players strengths. Full of shit from day one like the less-than-average player he was himself.
The amazing thing is that so many gave him another window and another window when it was all so glaringly obvious. Almost as bad as the Duchatelet-defenders who seem to think "it could be worse" is a credible defence after four years of abject horror as the club has been reduced to a shadow of it's former self, with huge debts and we are the laughing stock of London, let alone the rest of the country.
We need a mass and sustained boycott to force Duchatelet to act or to at least know we did everything we could to try and shift him.
I haven't been as critical as some on KR but he seems to have just given up now.
Whether its that he has the Oxford job lined up or knows he will be sacked when the takeover goes through but its clearly filtering through to the players who aren't motivated to perform.
So amongst the usual bullshit there was an element of truth in his post match interview.
Sad times, I think the gate on Saturday will start with a 7...

RD doesn't care. We'll be left with no fans soon - nobody in their right mind can be enjoying watching us.
Indeed. It is promotion that will put these players jobs on the line, not staying down or any takeover which isn't going to happen anyway. The players don't give much of a fuck, and they film it and put it online to prove it.
We went through a period in February, where at least we played well in patches, you could point the finger at individual errors costing us wins and go home frustrated that we didn't get the win.
Now it seems the wheels have come off. Three dismal defeats in a row where we deserved and got nothing, I don't know why things have downturned so badly, and Robinson seems bereft of ideas as well...

Would also imagine he's referring to having Clarke as well.
Amos, Solly, Pearce, Bauer/Konsa, Dasilva, JFC, Kashi, Fosu, Clarke, Marshall, Magennis i'd say is pretty close to his 'best XI'.
Any statto on here know if that XI has ever played together?
Just in case Karl looks at this forum, I'd just like to make clear that, were I to catch sight him, I would be doing something other than pointing with my finger(s).
Chaos and uncertainty. Careers being ruined. Jobs on the line. Misery surrounds Charlton on a scale never witnessed before. Losing to a team that has not won at home since the season before last (Autumn) seems to have clarified one point. The full extent of the damage caused by the egoism, greed, deception and blind stupidity of the FA, and all the "fit and proper" tax dodgers, money launderers, human rights abusers, pornograpers and oligarchs they openly support. Well, someone needed to say it.
Good bye and farewell British football. I wind down my window and spit on your grave.

That was the worst performance i've seen by us since we lost to Northwich Victoria. Absolutely nothing going. Turning up at the game and seeing the teamsheet I actually thought we were playing 4-4-2 as both Zyro and Magennis were on, but instead we played Magennis wide left in the incredible 4-2-3-1 - what the fuck?! How could anyone think Magennis was built for that position?! It worked a bit better when Mag was up front but still dire.
Mindblowingly bad and reading that the takeover is miles away, that means Robinson is here for a shift yet just fills me with misery...

Amos: 6(MotM), seems weird but I think he stopped it being a lot worse than it could have been Solly: 2.5 Bauer: 3 Pearce: 3 Page: n/a Sarr: 2 Konsa: 3 Reeves: 1.5 Forster-Caskey: 2 Fosu-Henry: 3 Magennis: 3.5 Zyro:2.5 Aribo:3 Marshall: n/a
We weren't good - very bad, in fact, but this is completely demented. The defence were good! The goal was Amos' fault! What's going on?
Don't see how it is demented tbh and I think I was quite generous. These are the factors I consider when I do my ratings. I class 1 as useless, 5 as average, 7 as decent, 10 as excellent. Then I will consider the opposition and their form (both awful) then I take into account things like play off the ball, closing down, running channels etc. I also drop player marks based on how many times they stupidly lose the ball. So after all that, who could you say had a decent game?
There's other stuff as well but I think you get it. How could anyone deserve anything above 5 apart from Amos who actually made some decent saves when we were completely outplayed? Anything above a 5 is bonkers imo
I watch a lot of football, we are absolutely horrific. Weak, small, lack of passers, spineless, lack of intelligence, lack a game plan. The list goes on. I can't stand when people try to sugar coat how bad we actually are. I've seen highlights of league 2 sides like Accrington and they would probably tear us a new one.
Whatever made me think sitting on a coach for eleven hours in total was a good idea? When the men in white coats come for Robinson, please send them onto me.
Utter crap, from start to finish, no-one looked interested, certainly no-one plays for Robinson anymore, he's lost the dressing room as well as his marbles, can't see where our next point is coming from. How many players do we get injured per match nowadays? More than in a season back in the old days, when playing was a lot harder. Can't find one good thing to say about it.
Apart from it was great to meet up with @Fanny Fanackapan, Mr. F and a good friend of ours to see the match with. The faithful few who sung their hearts out for that undeserving bunch should have their money refunded by Robinson and the "players"!

This. I'm reminded of a programme about Nottingham Forest's European exploits in late 1970 that was shown on Sky recently. Kenny Burns said that the 12 man squad (only 1 sub in those days) played virtually all the games during their marvellous 2 year run, which was 42 league games, FA & League cups (plus replays - no penalty shoot-outs) plus European ties (home & away knockout legs) He reckon around 70 games in 1978/79 season and on heavy pitches too. Our players play on average around 40 games and with 3 subs a few will play only 70/75 mins in any one game. The fact that so many of our injuries are muscle pulls/strains etc & not bad tackle injuries is rather puzzling.

Truly depressing and RD is still here.
If we don't go up this squad have no worries about finding another club.
If we do go up they will need to find another club.
95 % of the squad has no chance at playing championship football, now or in the future.
They don't want to get the club promoted.

What next?
I fancy us to win that one if there is. Forget the football.
