I've only been to one POTY and thoroughly enjoyed it.
It would feel strange going this year. Having only been to a couple of matches before xmas I really have no idea who I would vote for or who is worthy of winning.
Dasilva would get my vote, but not sure he's been great defensively. Clarke, possibly, and he's been a huge miss. Bauer's another player we appreciate more when he's missing. Fosu was on fire until his injury, and has worked hard since his return(s). Amos has been good.
But none is an obvious winner for me. Maybe Fosu has edged it.

Let's give it to JJ as a mark of respect for all the service he has given. No one else is worthy this season anyway.
I wouldn’t normally support such a move but, as there are no real contenders for the award, why not?
Because the Club should be responsible for honouring a long serving captain and it would also be unfair on the likes of dasilva who has actually played regularly and given a good account of himself despite all the shit going on both on and off the pitch

What’s the definition of POTY? I agree that normally it would be the best player on the field.
But why not the most admired player in our squad who will retire this season?
Serious question - Does PotY have to be a current squad member? Are there any rules about how many games have to have been played or whether they have to have been throughout the season?

May this event be a sell out and very enjoyable.
Da silva definitely gets my vote though.

I certainly don’t trust the club to honour him.
