Goes without saying that the nightmare set of results for us on Saturday would be Plymouth beating Rotherham, Scunthorpe beating MK Dons and us losing to Blackburn.
The above results would leave us in one of the three positions below going into the last day of the season:
1) If Scunthorpe beat Plymouth:
2) If Scunthorpe and Plymouth draw:
3) If Plymouth beat Scunthorpe:
If we draw against Blackburn, then we'll be 6th and in control of our own destiny going into the final game as long as Scunthorpe beat Plymouth....
Only just checked the Rochdale v Plymouth result. Wanted to make sure my equilibrium was just right. Reasonably happy with the draw. In recent years, results against Blackburn haven't been good but it's not as if we're facing Sutton and Shearer at the weekend. They're 2nd in a very poor league and they had a narrow 1-0 win tonight at a venue where we dominated. We acquitted ourselves well at their place in December so there is nothing to fear so COME ON!!!!

Could lose Saturday and still be 6th if scunny beat Plymouth
In recent times an end-of-season visit to The Valley has seen our shirt treated like a doormat by the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley and now it seems Blackburn. All Bs, strangely. But - somehow I don't think LB's Addicks plan on turning up on Saturday just to form a guard of honour. And there is the small matter of revenge for the disaster of 26 Apr 58 which turned out to cost this club so dear for so many years. Even the recent limp display against Scunthorpe might provide a valuable reminder that this project still has a fair way to go.
Saturday is pay-back time. Rovers are due a slip-up and whilst I'm expecting a high-scoring draw a few favourable twists and decisions could see the day belong to us. I hope as many Addicks as possible will be there to witness a bit of history. COYA!!

This Addick wont be there on Saturday. I didnt go all the to Belgium last year to protest about RDs ownership to later flip flop now. Nothing fundemental has changed.
I think fosu's injury is our biggest stumbling block - we are a different team without him - what the other teams do is not as important - without him we struggle to win games which makes everything else secondary - do we know how long he is out for?
Im confident although I have a horrible sneaky feeling that the collapse against Scunthorpe will come back to haunt us. In reality, the damage will have been done much earlier in the season eg Oxford but that Scunthorpe game really felt like season over. Recovery since then has been as impressive as it was unexpected. Blackburn will be a different kettle of fish but they may well be half way to the beach so if good Charlton turn up I fancy us. 3 points may well be enough.
What is a positive is that we can be a bit cagey against Blackburn without feeling pressure from the crowd. Our big weakness is trying to beat teams at the Valley who try to stop us.
I think 2 points may do it. This eliminates Pompey and Bradford. Plymouth will have to win two of their final three games, which I think is unlikely.
That Rochdale goalkeeper clanger on Saturday cost them two points which was unfortunate for us as they are now certain to need something in that last game and Henderson will be back from suspension. My view is we'll lose Saturday and draw at Rochdale, so play offs will only happen if others screw up.
As others have said above Fosu is a massive miss for us and that scunthorpe performance could be the one to cost us. A draw would have been great, instead we woke up a rival.

I'd rather like to think it would be down to that disastrous run under Robinson when we won about three matches in twenty with some absolutely horrendous performances.
Nerves will play as big a part in all the games now as either form or fixture. Blackburn won’t roll over but they won’t be unbeatable either. I’d take a draw.
its blackburn not man city go into the game expecting a win and if we draw we draw, im with others on i cant see plymouth winning the 3 remaning, equally if we dont get them its because of robinsons shit management.

Why? They could easily beat Rotherham at home and Gillingham away.
Don't personally think Scunthorpe is the game that cost us. No more so than the pathetic display at Wimbledon or losing home and away to Gillingham, or dropping points at home to Fleetwood and the bottom 2 sides, MK Dons and Bury, or losing at home to Oxford after being 2-1 up in the 89th minute.
Let's face it, if we don't make the play offs it's down to KR and the fact he stayed 2 months too long playing his shit formation with no plan B. If we'd had Bowyer since Jan, i've no doubt we'd be on a similar points total to Rotherham

Feeling very confident and I don't like it.
1st step get to Play offs
2nd step get to Wembley
Win play offs
I feel taking it game by game we have a great chance for all, but again cant afford any slip ups. In Bower we trust!
