It's what football managers do, some make a good living out of it.8 -

I suspect he has been very frustrated knowing things he couldn't share. He also has a chance now to get Sarr fit and other players fitter and really have a go at things. If the season isn't cancelled that is.3

Saw the other day that Peterborough have players in self-isolation, guess the Media arent covering it becuase they're not a Premier League side
In that case wonder how many other EFL players / Charlton players even are in self-isolation, reason I ask here is I wonder if Bowyer will be able to carry out training as normal0 -

All of our thoughts will be with Seb on Saturday. I hope the players do it for him.7

Pleased that worked and good to see/hear the press conference. Taking chances is clearly the great unknown for Lee as much as us. Time for Bonne, Hemed, Aneke, McGeady, Lapslie and Green to step up. There are goals in all of those and the defenders have proven they can chip in.1

Any other feedback?0

LB seemed satisfied that Elliott will provide stability (I suppose that means the wages will get paid), but what else could he say?As usual LB came across really well; honest, straightforward, and if anyone can get us out of the relegation places, it’s certainly him.3

Also mentioned that he has the majority of the squad available ahead of Saturdays game so a few players are going to be missing
Has been difficult analysing Hull because of the break and because Hull's whole back four was missing for the original tie... Its meant that the Management team have focused on showing the players various clips of individuals
Admits its a good opportunity for McCann to try something new1 -

Mentioned that he was having to clean the balls at the ground and cannot imagine any other manager doing that. Such are the bare resources.
Nothing to read into the results, they were fitness builders only, he wanted his team chasing down the ball vs Arsenal and against Championship goalkeepers 1 or 2 would have likely gone in.All teams will face challenges with their squads other than those with the biggest squads with sufficient like for like replacements within them. Otherwise, there will be a mix of players not wanting to play and most definitely injuries, as pushing the players to play after just two or three pre-season matches is going to push their bodies beyond what is normal (preparation). Mentioned Arsenal losing 2 within 15 mins last night by way of example.
The squad including the 5 subs will be really important and rotation will also be necessary.6 -
An interview with Lee Bowyer will be on BBC 1 Football Focus today, the program starts at 12 noon, its just been announced on BBC breakfast for those that maybe interested.4

Loved in that interview how he was talking about getting Alex Rae back for the red card offence5 -
If LB can't fire these players up for this then nobody can... The man is a winner and God help any player tomorrow not giving 110%.
