Billy bragg’s Comments about Jews “have work to do” to get trust from Labour I thought was a bit bizarre and bordering on the anti Semitic. Also mcdonnel’s humourous Freudian slip about labour being anti racist and anti Semitic seems to have bought it back to the fore.
What can labour do to kill off this anti semitism label that seems to be following them around?

I can't remember us being told this or there being any updates to the policy though.

The only way we can try and defeat intolerance is when we start teaching children in schools about our colonial past, the The Slave Trade, the Civil Rights Movement in America, and the South African Apartheid, otherwise ignorance will continue to prevail.

The current issue is that while Labour accepts the main statement of the IHRA, there are many vague and generalistic appendixes which define criticisms of Israel. I believe Corbyn & Co rightly reject any agenda to stop them attacking this insidious regime.
Apartheid treated blacks as 2nd class citizens. Israel treats Palestinians worse and murders them with impunity.

I hate posting in topics like these because it's probably easy for some to lump me with Holocaust deniers now that I've said something. But equally don't feel I can leave such topics to the usual suspects.

I like Corbyn's policies (mostly) so it's such a shame that the reality is that he's unelectable to such large sections of the public. I wouldn't be against replacing him and his increasingly toxic brand candidate so that Labour can regain some drifting voters.
I just hope they don't drift back to the centre. The country needs a strong left, a party that is neither here nor there does no one any good. Many young people will go back to voting Green before we vote for 'Tory-lite'.
