Football has come quite a way in the US. Both games live on TV, one of them on NBC, the top of ESPN’s website is all about the two matches and a big spread in the NYtimes. Seven years ago when ManU and ManC were down to the wire, I don’t think anything was on TV at all.

I always thought they worked out half way between the two / three grounds etc.

They then had a Helicopter just hovering in the air during the 90mins and would fly a little closer to whatever ground was likely to have the Champions
