I think he or the producers need to ditch the investment bit and go back to giving one of them a job. It skews the whole thing too much and like you say, he ends up sacking people not because of how they performed on a task or how culpable for a loss they were.
Besides that I thought dragons den was about investment, if you had such a good idea and were after investment and acumen just go down that route surely

The key thing in the UK is that nothing is allowed to make medical claims unless clinically proven. Hence all the vitamin supplements have to be very careful what they say, as NONE are clinically proven to benefit anyone except those who have a genuine deficiency, which is a tiny percentage of the population

I love the interview episodes, they don't really serve any meaningful purpose beyond making the contestants wriggle and grizzle however I like how some (most) fall apart where others firm it out quite well
