"My name is Danish Kaneria and I admit that I was guilty of the two charges brought against me by the England and Wales Cricket Board in 2012," the 37 year-old told Al Jazeera. "I have become strong enough to make this decision, because you cannot live a life with lies.
"I want to apologise to Mervyn Westfield, my Essex team-mates, my Essex cricket club, my Essex cricket fans. I say sorry to Pakistan.

Having watched it live, I have to say that it was one of those weird situations, that happen sometimes, that is inexplicable.
Azhar Alie clearly thought that it had gone for four, but as you can see from the video, it actually pulled up well short – that is his problem for not watching it to the boundary.
Can’t blame the Aussies in this instance, they did absolutely nothing wrong.

Glad I got up early to watch Mohammad Abbas. He's made medium-fast sexy again1

Pakistan have always had great bowlers to watch, Mohammed Asif was the pick of the bunch for me, had it on a piece of string0

I loved watching Abdul Qadir, at a time when leg spinners were incredibly rare and batsmen didn't have the benefit of video coaches with zoomed in super slow mo replays!4

Says he was once on Charlton books. Didn't know that.Cafc43v3r said:Joe Denly checks in early as England ponder slowing down the attack

England won the toss and inserted SL who made 273-7 off their 50.
Hales has come in for Bairstow as the latter rolled his ankle the day before - playing football!0 -
The 'mystery' spinner , Akila, looks impressive.0

76-2 off 160

A rather lucky break for Root - caught off a full toss but "no ball" called for not having 5 inside the circle
116-2 off 23
Morgan 23* (22)
Root 24* (45)0 -
119-2 off 24.
Root a bit bogged down 23 off 46, was caught off a no ball, but still couldnt get a run off the free-hit.
Rain looks imminent -D/L currently 1030 -
tuned into Talksport2 who have got the broadcast rights for this tour .. refreshing to hear a set of commentators who, compared to the latest TMS crew, spend little time giggling at their own infantile humour and discussing anything other than the cricket out on the field but just get on with sensible and knowledgeable commentating and opinionating1

Good to hear. Must admit, TMS does get a bit tedious when they seem more interested in cakes, pigeons and buses than cricket.Lincsaddick said:tuned into Talksport2 who have got the broadcast rights for this tour .. refreshing to hear a set of commentators who, compared to the latest TMS crew, spend little time giggling at their own infantile humour and discussing anything other than the cricket out on the field but just get on with sensible and knowledgeable commentating and opinionating
Who are the commentators?0 -
All experienced .. Neil Manthorpe, Mark Nicholas and Mark Butcher .. with punditry from Darren Gough .. that's the lot I heard during my 1/2 hour tune inThe_President said:

Bloody sky making it rain just in time for the coverage of Chelsea united to start. Bloody ruining sport for £££s.3

Raining in the cricket so Mrs.Blackpool decides to turn tv over to the X factor.
