What a finish.2 - Sponsored links:

He’s an Absolute gun. He really is a joy to watch when he’s in full flow. 2 from 2 without our three main batsmen. Superb3
-
Good news and bad news.
Good news - Kent win again.
Bad news - I cashed out on my cricket bet when Kent lost there 4 wicket.0 -
Gave up when the third ball of the last over was a dot. Unbelievable !4
-
Jesus Christ.......well done Blakey!!!!!0
-
OMFG !!!!!!
Stripped & remade the bed, including turning the mattress over ON MY OWN , muttering " Come on you boys! " over & over again. Sweat pouring off me - good job I had my wellies on.....and trying hard to retain my lucky crossed feet stance (don't ask)
We need 12 from final 3 balls ....
Blakey 6 !!!!
And then " He's hit it high.."
Sh*t !
" But it's a 6 ! Game over ! "
Unbelievable.
What a fantastic team this is. NO Billy Big Bo**ocks. Just a team of fighters who don't know when to quit.
Remind you of another group of lads?

Why is DBD so inconsistent ????
He scored 2 last night, he's scored 2 today ...
If we keep winning when he scores a couple of runs I'm more than happy for him to fail every innings.
DBD's batting instructions for remainder of tournament:
Push for two, get out, win match.
Repeat again and again.
Lift trophy.
Simples. 😀🏆3 - Sponsored links:

Great win.0

I believe Kuhn should be available for next game on Friday. Who will he replace. My choice would be Dickson for 20/20.
Then when Billings returns it could be interesting. Suspect it will be Cox to give way but DBD needs to get some runs otherwise he could make way.0 -
Qayyum the hero on Saturday, Blake today, great for our (more) unsung players to shine2

Well done Kent !!0

Nabi is a very effective off spin bowler and very handy stylish batsmen.
The named squad does present challenges
I imagine Crawley will open with either Cox or Haggett (he has scored decent runs in the 2nds opening), with Dickson at 3, Bell Drummond at 4, Robinson at 5, Blake at 6, Nabi at 7, Viljoen at 8, with Milnes, Milne and Qayyam making up the numbers. I suspect Klaassen will miss out.
It is a decent bowling attack with Viljoen, Milnes, Milne, Nabi, Qayyam - I am not sure whether Haggett if he plays is fit enough to bowl.
Were Billings, Denly and Kuhn available it would be a very strong and balanced squad.
The Milne and Nabi contracts were issued before Billings was injured. The Viljoen pick up was an opportunistic Kolpack signing.
Edit
I note Haggett bowled yesterday in two T20s 2nd XI friendlies yesterday

Houllion (sp) is a good keeper and Price is first choice...interesting decision.

I have an an awful feeling that poor Sam hasn’t seen the last of his injury.....hope I’m wrong of course but the shoulders of a first class wicket keeper are constantly
coming into contact with the ground from all angles and extensions over and over again.
Dislocations are a constant threat throughout their career and they are never quite the same again once they are weakened ......psychologically his brain will send him a subconscious signal not to perform an action that might cause the injury again.
Unless he is able to overcome the inherent human instinct to land in such a way to protect his shoulder he won’t be the same again to the point of being the ‘top top’ class which he was,......I hope for his sake he can.
I had this problem with a ankle ligament injury and was never quite the same player, I was unable to stick my foot in where I thought it might get injured again.....not cowardice, just my brain telling me for that split second not to perform that action......a world class wicket keeper cannot afford that split second ‘shall I or shan’t I’ delay in his decision making.
Used to annoy the hell out of me.....Good luck Sam.2
