If we lose a wicket now I'm gonna blame Len!2 -
We do seem to be batting as if this is a one day game - we're going at almost 5 an over!0
-
We probably had enough runs even without batting again!0
-
Anyone know what the problem with Cox is?0
-
Bilbo's got his 500
-
I can't understand why captains don't enforce the follow-on these days.killerandflash said:We probably had enough runs even without batting again!1 -
Yes, it seems not to be the done thing these days.Briston_Addick said:

I can’t think of any team having done that recently......curious?0 -
Funnily Rikki Clarke (a young whippersnapper at 37) got his 500th first class wicket yesterday, but then Stevo's bowling has matured with age as I don't think it was that dangerous as a youngsterkillerandflash said:
500th First Class wicket for Darren Stevens!bolloxbolder said:Stevens strikes.104 for 6.
Be interesting to know how many have been LBW as it's the classic Stevo dismissal0 -

Crawley gone for 82.
I'll take the blame!1 -
Think sides nowadays are worried about having to bat last on a deteriorating wicket (especially with someone like Ashwin in the opposition) and it gives an opportunity for bowlers to put their feet up for a while. It also offers control to the side that is on top in terms of setting at score that will be sufficient to not lose a game at the very worst.Briston_Addick said:

I imagine Billings also wanted our batsmen to get time in the middle, as most of them failed in the first innings and have been short of runs recently. If we had put Notts back in, we could have ended up winning by an innings or being left with a chase of say 50 which wouldn't have helpedAddick Addict said:

The collapse is on 175-3.
Kuhn gone for 5 Robinson in.0 -
Cox retired after being hit on the wrist. So, if Cox cannot return, we are, effectively, 355-4LenGlover said:The collapse is on 175-3.

Robinson, still to score, edges a ball from Fletcher and Duckett drops him at 1st slip.
