What it does tell you is there's a clear feeling within the playing side of the club that the club is not in a progressive state.
When you are coming up to both a promotional run in and a time when you want to tie players down to longer contracts, that's the exact opposite of what you want.
One reason he claims he got rid of Curbs was because they didnt want a summer of trying to sign players with a Manager's future uncertain for the following year - Well this summer its bloody everyone12 -
now officially a Charlton Athletic LEGEND for that act alone.
Well done Lyle you brave man.14 -
I agree with everything he says ... but... I hope Bowyer and the players take their anger out on the pitch by winning their last 14 games rarher than feel sorry for themselves and let the season dwindle away. We could go either way at the moment.7

Well said LT. Big nads to express that publicly. He wont be here next season, which will be a crying shame.
What it tells me is that at CAFC there is an Us (The Team) and him (Ratweazel) mentality, not necessarily a bad thing and it appears that Bow has the nous to use it as a positive, certainly the team appears galvanised. If we do get promoted, then it will be in spite of Ratty and not because of him.I dont think I've disliked someone that I've never met as much as I dislike him for what he has done to our club, the staff and the divisions created amongst the fans, I do hope he contracts something that phucks him up big time.6 -
He says what we all feel however as an employee of the club I am not sure this is wise.
Love the bloke for saying it though. He's one of those players you would love to have a beer with1 -
LT is going to be proper Charlton before too long.1

How dare he criticise the club and owner.
Should be grateful we saved his career.
Drop him now, we haven't missed him while he was suspended.2 -

We will never ever get that many replacements in that match the quality of the ones leaving, I still think the worst is yet to come with Roland0 -

“I don’t know if he [Duchatelet] is even going to sell the club. He doesn’t seem to be that interested in in anything Charlton, or anything helping Charlton at the moment”
let him come up with a excuse for that.5 -

Sounds like he may be trying to engineer a move away.....
Though Lyle is prone to a suspension.5 -
I hace just named my new horse on Red Dead Redemption "Lyle.'2

Most comprehensive attack from a current member of the playing squad so far?
Excellent comments from Taylor. Bowyer’s response when he’s inevitably asked about them will be interesting.1 -

I agree with pretty much all he’s said but I can’t see what good will come of this. He’ll get ironed out in the summer for sure now.0

Grateful for his comments.
I don't see it as much of a risk on his part.
Lyle Taylor's stock is far higher than Charlton Athletic.
As I've previously said the playing management of this club are helping to paper over huge cracks.
There is among some fans the misguided notion that we could somehow achieve promotion.
When you have an owner pulling in the complete opposite direction to the players and staff that will NEVER happen.
We need to be in this together. Top to bottom. The sooner he goes the sooner we can start turning it around. Not a chance under his tenure.6 -
Since I started watching in 1963 we have certainly had some proper footballers here that live long and deep in the memory. Lyle has been with us half a season yet he will undoubtedly join those other special players in status.
Lyle is one of the good guys.

Based on those comments, why would any of the players soon to be out of contract even for a second contemplate signing a contract. Why would any player think signing for us would be a good career move. Why would Bowyer, Jackson and Gallen bother.
I realise we are cutting back on swearing on here and my apologies but fuck off Roland.11
