Scott Carson starts a Premier League match tonight, one week shy of a decade since he last did so (also against Newcastle).
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 325-goals in that time frame...

This thread could easily be renamed "tweets and random stats by Richard Jolly" the guy doesn't stop.
Well worth a follow if you enjoy this thread.

I think he got 2 in 1 game - might have been against Man Utd?

Carragher and Dunne may have more own goals but they played in the premier league for 15+ years. Martin Skrtel got 7 in 9 seasons so technically he is much worse.

I remember he'd got 2 in successive games before they played us, then in our game he sliced one against the post, nearly made it 3 games in a row.

Jermain De Foe is the 87th player to have won a trophy since leaving spurs, since spurs last won a trophy.

Charlton's last FA Cup Final was closer the the Battle of Rorke's Drift, and the inventions of the telephone and the light bulb than it is to the present day.

Millwall have lost an FA Cup Final more recently than we have.

More to the point, we've won they Cup, they ain't.

Bruno Fernandes may be the first player to score every month in a calendar year for their Football club.

Kelechi Iheanacho is the first player to score on every day of the week in a Premier League season.

Chelsea’s top Premier League goal scorer didn’t score a goal from open play all season.
