  • Wolves are now 8th in the PL and yet have only found the net 14 times in 19 matches - compared to City's 53 and Liverpool's 52. Their last eight games have not had more than one goal in the match in total from both sides - five goals in total in 720 minutes of football
  • King Kazu, Yokohama unfortunately relegated last season so he’s back down in J2.
  • Maybe we'll put in a cheeky offer?

TS did say we’d bring in some experienced loans….

Signs for Charlton and after an injury free career of 1,622 consecutive appearances breaks down after 12 minutes of his CHARLTON debut and is out for 4-6 weeks (in Charlton speak, in reality the rest of the season )

edit : sorry that sounds true , so shouldn't be on this thread
  • I've mentioned them a few times but the Tranmere story this season is getting ridiculous - they sit currently 2nd in League 2 having scored just 24 goals from 23 games. When has a club ever finished runner up in any division having barely managed a goal a game? To put their "achievement" in more perspective, the bottom club, Oldham, have scored just two goals less but gained 23 points fewer.

Goals win games... Clean sheets get you promoted

Both teams have scored in a Tranmere game just twice this season

    They actually won 4-0 yesterday

Milan won the league one year scoring 36 in 34.

Helps if you've got one if the best defences ever, though.
  • There Forwards were pretty good aswell

Don't you mean strikers, target men, attackers or the such like :p

Never thought we'd see the day where any Tranmere Manager, let alone Mickey Melon, would be associated with Fabio Capello and "Catenaccio"
  • Julian Brandt has just been booked for Dortmund. His first in the league since 2014 - 232 appearances.

  • Two for one here

  • Mitrovic is ridiculous this season, just 4 off Ivan Toney's league record and it's only mid-January.

Its not just Mitrovic though is it... Brereton and Solanke arent far behind him

Craig Mcgilivray has been involved in 4 Papa johns trophy (and whatever it was called before) finals for 3 different clubs. Winning 1 and losing 3.
It could well be 5 finals with 4 teams this season.

You’d hope Mac would be no closer than the bench.

They have now scored more (17)  in the last two and a half games than Barnsley have all season. And Mitrovic hasn't even scored any of Fulham's four goals so far tonight

  • Bit of a Fulham special, do we need to look up teams that have scored 19-25 goals this season before the weekend?
  • First team to score 6 or more goals in 3 successive games since Chester in 1933
  • Fulham have scored less goals per game than Chelsea did in the Premier League in 2009/10.
  • Prior to last Saturday Andrew Dallas had gone 18 consecutive games without scoring. That day his side, Solihull, defeated Southport 3-0 in the F A Trophy and then today they beat Dover 5-0 in the National League. Dallas scored all eight goals. Not sure how Dallas felt though today as he was denied the opportunity to score more as he was brought off after 56 minutes!
