  • That’s about 25/1 shot of a freebie
  • Available
    439 in A
    312 in B

16 elsewhere (12 in Lower West).
Surprised they are releasing the closed West Stand blocks last as visually these are the ones that will be shown by the cameras the most. If you wanted to showcase a large crowd, not sure you want empty blocks opposite the main cameras
I’m surprised they are opening them on the basis that those blocks cause mass confusion to the stadium map
  • " I bought my ticket early but some plastic who never goes gets a freebie"

"Moan, moan, get behind the lads, let's feel the Valley but not with anyone who isn't as hard core as me"
    My thoughts exactly

I remember a game as a kid being in the Jimmy Seed where either we were in the top tier and the Oppo were in the bottom. Can’t remember who this was against and whether this was a regular thing back then?
Were you the little bugger who kept kicking the back of my chair?
    @ElfsborgAddick was this you?
Probably, my feet do have problems touching the floor at times.

Anyone else reading Gelan Swifts posts on the Donny forum?
One of us but apparently thousands of us are delusional.
Is that freakshow still in town?
He is one of still quite a few of that mindset.

One of them still posts on here.
  • Told my Millwall mate we've sold out at Donny.
His reply - "make it evil".
I think that's OTT, but let's make a cauldron of noise.
I would have said make it like a home game, but I'd prefer a cauldron of noise
Are we getting live updates from Doncaster tonight

    Setting off in 2 hours.
First pint of Guinness scheduled for 17.30 :-)
  • I have been stood outside the ticket office for 6 hours, thought the game was today.

On a more serious note, are we expecting to be able to pick up tickets from 9ish tomorrow?

    • Fans who purchased their away ticket on Thursday or Friday will be able to collect their tickets at the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster from 9am on Sunday. Away collections will be from the Club Doncaster Academy Reception which is located next to the away turnstiles.

Which Donny site is Gelan Swift posting on, what user name is he using and which thread is he posting in?
I have looked on Viking Chat (which is their main forum), but can’t find him?

What was the atmosphere like in the JS when it was split? I'm always amazed at how much noise that stand can generate acoustically but have only ever sat elsewhere.
I had a session ticket in there for the 98/99 session and it was brilliant. We had a good old sing in there. My seat was the end of the row, then there was a steward and then the away fans. Had lots of excellent banter (for want of a better word). West Ham were the scariest and Man Utd the most annoying.

    Found him now....on Viking Chat.
Mad as a box of frogs as usual and “doesn’t speak”  for the main thrust of the Addicks fan base and indeed never has.

Has he started a pub thread for Ledbury tomorrow?

    9 seats in B block
  • Late decision to drive up, leave Greenwich at 8am roughly tomorrow. Anyone want a lift let me know.
  • Just 328 tickets available for The Valley.

Will one (or both) the closed West stand blocks be opened up for sale on monday?

Bowyer mentioned in that video we had 3k left to sale so they are on course to be open.

I imagine the comms guys have a press release set for the final whistle to announce the final two blocks will go on sale at 9AM on Monday.
  • It’s bizarre though isn’t it. If you are going to open them then why not open them now?
  • Off_it said:
Why would they not open the closed blocks? In fact, why havent they done so already? It makes no sense whatsoever. There are empty seats there, so sell them!
The f****** club makes no sense.
