Phillips: 6.5 I'll put the O.G down to nerves and letting his mind slip. Big save to keep it at 1-0
Dijksteel: 7.5 QUALITY. His best game for us
Bauer MOM: 8 Solid as a rock, winning headers left and right. First goal in ages, couldn't be a bigger one
Sarr: 5 Not his day. Very close to giving them a pen
Purrington: 7 Excellent going forward today, kept his cool for the finish
Bielik: 6 Meh. Not his best game but he did what he had to
Cullen: 7 A wayward pass towards the end sent them on a dangerous attack, could have been terminal and thought the majority of set pieces today were poor. HOWEVER, his skill on the edge of the box and the cross for the winner were world class. Wouldn't be in the championship without him
Aribo: 7 His solid self, no complaints
Pratley: 7.5 His experience showed today. Solid as a rock. Bullied by no one
Taylor: 7 Decent chance to score off the volley. Along with Taylor was a nuisance in a good way
Parker: 7 Ran his socks off, never stopped working. Delicious long ball to Lyle at the end
Pearce: 7 Didn't notice him much, did what he was asked
Referee: 8 TBH we seemed to get a lot of fouls in our favor, I do however think he got just about everything correct

Williams: 8 for his cameo. On his day, the best ball handler in the league. Provided us with a much needed spark

  • 10s all round . . Even Sarr; I don’t rate him, but I don’t care
  • Phillips: 7 At fault for the goal (more so than Sarr IMO) but otherwise ok
    Dijksteel: 8
    Bauer: 9
Sarr: 7 Did ok but clearly too much of a risk to keep him on in the second half
    Purrington: 8
    Bielik: 8
Cullen: 9 Impressive. Reminded me of Scott Parker
    Aribo: 9

  • Phillips: 6.5 came back well from a howler, looked assured
Dijksteel: 8 one hell of a player now
Bauer: 8.5 MOTM room for a bit of sentiment here
Sarr: 6.5 didn't do so badly apart from a booking and...um...giving poor Dillon a...slightly...tricky one to deal with...right decision to sub him but only because of the card
Purrington: 7 he gets a 7 every week. Even when he scores at Wembley. Actually just kidding, he can have 7.5 just this once
Bielik: 7.5 had a really strong second half
Cullen: 7.5 thought his radar was a bit wonky and his delivery poor...until the 94th minute
Aribo: 6 didn't seem fit or particularly involved. Hope it's not his last game for us but it probably is
Pratley: 7 beetled about doing his hardworking fouly thing. Right move to bring him off when Bowyer did
Taylor: 7.5 mostly for that fantastic assist - a bit isolated otherwise
Parker: 7 almost certainly his last game for us. But he worked fucking hard and won a rather important free-kick at the end. Will be remembered for his effort. Dunno if his backheel was going in if not blocked
Pearce: 8 a great man to bring on. Doesn't have the drama of Sarr but we certainly didn't need any more drama at the back, and we got none
Williams: 8.5 Gamechanger. Give him another contract, he'll love the Championship with us. Amazing to be able to play an ace like that in a deadlocked game
Referee: 8 gave them loads of yellow cards, didn't give a marginal penalty claim (Dijksteel, first half), top man

  • Phillips: 5 total shocker for the OG and would have been a 4 but for some decent distribution and a couple of tips round the post
Dijksteel: 7 solid lad and quick, didn’t think I’d say this at the start of the season but deserves his place over a fit Solly
Bauer: 9 well injury time winner gets you extra points. Sad to say I think that’s the last game we will see him in a Charlton shirt but thanks Patrick, you’ve been super professional and wow, at the end a legend
Sarr 6 did well at times but overall not a good game, glad he was subbed at half time
Purrington 8 extra point for the goal
Beilik 7 ok, not his best
Cullen: 8.5 very lovely and has an ability to see the game in his head when playing a pass that others just cannot see (or do)
Aribo :  7 well shit down by them but still a proper talent
Pratley 7.5 amazed to see him start, and he played really well
Taylor: 7 all over the pitch (in a good way) again, misses a chance he could have scored
Parker: 6 tries hard but not clicked
Pearce:  7 he’s a good player for league 1, may have done himself out of a job as not sure he’s championship quality
Williams:  7.5 burnt them away a couple of times, has class but not a finisher and final ball more likely to get a corner than an assist
Referee: 8 don’t remember that many bad decisions given to either team which is very u usual
  • Phillips: 6.5 - Howler for the first goal but brilliant save to keep them out after that. Kicking was decent
Dijksteel: 8 - Has really added to his game going forward. Nothing got by him defensively
Bauer: 8 - Won - possibly literally - everything in the air. Got the winner. Beautiful big bastard.
Sarr: 5.5 - Ignoring the backpass, the risk with Naby remains that the occasion gets the best of him. Looked shaky and erratic all game and felt like a bit of a liability for the second half on a yellow. Correct decision to sub him.
Purrington: 8.5 - MOTM. Forget the goal, he was superb on the ball. Defensively he was sound but he kept the ball well, played some excellent balls forward and supported attacks brilliantly. His best Charlton performance by a mile.
Bielik: 7 - Really improved when he was pushed into midfield. Was just too classy for them
Cullen: 7 - Drove and switched play well.
Aribo: 6.5 - One of his weaker games. Struggled with positioning in the 3-5-2 but linked well with Lyle for the first goal.
Pratley: 7 - Was our best performer in the first half. Dragged our players into position and broke up their play when they were looking decent in the first 15.
Taylor: 6.5 - Not his best game either. Touch started to leave him towards the end as he tired but he always looked like he could cause them problems. Good assist, great attitude.
Parker: 7 - He'll never score a goal as long as he lives but they just couldn't stop him winning long balls he had no right getting to, he ran his socks off and put some great balls across when he pulled wide.
Pearce: 7 - Exactly what we needed second half. Nothing was getting past him
Williams: 7 - Came on at the perfect time. They were terrified of him being on the ball and we got so many free kicks thanks to him
Referee: 6 - Weird decisions on bookings. Started giving Parker the free kicks he deserved as the game went on

Bowyer 10. Changed shape at halftime, and Bielik in midfield helped us get control of the game. Big call subbing Naby. Perfect timing bringing Williams on for Pratley. With Johnny on we were dominant for the last twenty or so, but we needed Darren's battling early doors.

  • Phillips:7 Some great saves over 90 minutes, we'll ignore the first 4 minutes
Dijksteel: 7.5 very good player, lacked a bit of creativity today but that was probably down to the additional defensive duties.
    Bauer: 8 Solid
Sarr: 6 Winger bullied him with pace, but then Purrington wasn't supporting much. Great finish for their goal.
Purrington: 7 Excellent going forward today, defensively steady. should epthave supported Sarr more like he did Pearce.
Bielik: 6 . Really thought he had an off day. Passing was poor, missed tackles and was out muscled too many times.
Cullen: 7.5 See Bielik but the opposite.
    Aribo: 7 No complaints
Pratley: 9 Fantastic pick for the side.
Taylor: 7 unlucky not to score. Was given very little by the ref.
Parker: 7 Fantastic final game for us.
Pearce: 7 Provided experience in plaxe of Sarr's inexperience.
Referee: 4 Poor Referee, they should have lost that 13. Filthy little fucker. Missed many drags on our lot. Also missed a few naughty ones from us. At least he wasn't biased.

Williams: 8 Literally changed the game in our favour.

  • For the final time this season your marks please:

Phillips: 6 - Great season, great save, but he put us in trouble

Dijksteel: 8 - Flick on first goal was a thing of beauty

Bauer: 9 - ET winner. Hope we keep him but wouldn’t complain if he left. Loyal servant and Class player.

Sarr: 6 - Shaken early, was getting 2v1d a lot, but did okay.

Purrington: 8 - Developed brilliantly. Pleased for him.
Bielik: 9 - Nothing to add I haven’t already said. Potential to be a top top player providing he stays fit.

Cullen: 8-  Marked quite low on here?!? Great assist, probably ran a marathon and was first to every ball.

Aribo:  7- Thought he was our weakest midfielder, looked better deeper though.

    Pratley: 8 - Shift son

Taylor: 7- Great assist, tirelesss but quiet a fair bit (not really his fault though)

Parker: 7 - Bowyer probably asked him to run and hold the ball up, he put in a shift

Pearce: 7 - Typical Pearce, solid.

Williams: 8 - He wanted it today. What a guy.

Referee: 7 - Yellow should’ve been out sooner but he was okay. Deducted a few points because his brother Shags dogs.

Dijksteel: 7 - Solid game at Right-Back, will be interesting to see if he can step up to the Championship
Bauer: 10 - A rock all season, a rock since he joined; Patrick... Your name has just joined Shirtliff and Mendonca!!
Sarr: 6 - Why the hell pass back with the ball on target, never do that!!... Needless Yellow Card too
Purrington: 8 - Signs off with a deserved goal, want him back next season
Cullen: 8 - Another great game in the Midfield, hopefully West Ham will be too busy trying to sign glamorous names
Aribo: 7.5 - Not at his best today, poor game by his standards
Pratley: 8 - An absolute engine today, his energy was everywhere until he came off
Taylor: 7.5 - Nice assist for the goal, quiet today though
Parker: 7 - Did some good running, unfortunate nor to score himself in injury time

Pearce: 7.5 - Great second half appearance, especially to come on in such an important game
Williams: 7.5 - Won some really good free kicks for us

Referee: 7 - Didnt have much to do today, made the correct decisions

Cullen: 7.5 excellent in open play, set pieces were disappointing though

  • Phillips: 7 the goal I felt so sorry for him. Great save just after.
    Dijksteel: 7 solid
Bauer: 8 the big fucking German!
Sarr: 6 felt for him, has won our hearts and that early gaff ruined his final moment this season.
    Purrington: 8 superb
Bielik: 9 I hope we sign him, unreal
Cullen: 9 I hope we try to sign him too. What a player
    Aribo: 9 praying he stays
Pratley: 8 a great leader. Hos presence and puts his body on the line
    Taylor: 7
Parker: 5 I honestly think he has nothing to offer. Make poor runs, Poor decisions, cant finish, doesn't win the flick ons, nothing screams keep him to me
Pearce: 7 great impact and what we needed at that time. A calm leader
Williams: 8 changed the game for me
    Referee: 6
  • Phillips: 7 after the bizarre, played fine
Dijksteel: 8 has matured in last 2 months.
    Bauer: 8.5 my favourite German.
Sarr: 6 two poor games can't take away his great form since he got back in
Purrington: 8.5  he has been excellent for us.
    Bielik:8.5 my favourite Pole.
Cullen: 8.5 covers every blade of grass
Aribo: 7 didn't have the influence but worked hard.
Pratley: 7.5 the worker, played well.
Taylor: 8  plus 1 for the assist
Parker: 7 he's no striker but played ok and passed well.
    Pearce 7 solid 2nd half.
    Williams: 8.5 great cameo.
Referee: 7 started to book Sunderland players too late, but decent ref in front of 76k and the added pressures.

Bowyer 10 picked the right side but once Nabby was starting to implode he hooked him and Williams was a great sub to make.
