Opening friday night games in recent seasons.

    2018: Reading v Derby
    2017: Sunderland v Derby
    2016: Fulham v Newcastle
    2015: Brighton v Forest
    2014: Blackburn v Cardiff

What does this mean? I haven’t got a clue.

No Leeds? I find that very hard to believe!

One of the west London tinpot mobs on a Friday night first game would be a thing of beauty.

I'd much prefer a home fixture for the start of this particular season now.

I usually don't have much of a preference.

Anyone at home will be good.

3 seasons in league one....means that it's now a privelidge to play against a club like Hull!

I would be surprised if it was Millwall. My prediction is that our first away game will be to a sh*t hole. :)

Told it's Blackburn away then Stoke home. Millwall dates above correct. Leeds 28 September

Guess the clubs need time to update their websites

Makes sense, just hate Blackburn away so I’m in denial.

    Winnable game perhaps?

Stoke at the Valley will certainly be a real test

Bang goes my theory though that you play away at the start of the season one year... play at home the next

Maybe only applies if you are still in the same division?

So if SKY continue the theme of having all weeknight games on TV then we'll have at least the following televised:

    At the Valley
    Nottingham Forest (21/08)
    Swansea City (02/10)
    Huddersfield Town (10/12)
    Queens Park Rangers (17/03)

    Away
    Bristol City (23/10)
    Luton Town (26/11)
    Nottingham Forest (11/02)
    Sheffield Wednesday (26/02)
