  • As someone who has recently become interested in the human body, I find your posts hugely interesting
  • This is excellent, I only need to read three more pages and I’ll have a Med degree from the university of Charltonlife
  • Excelleht detail!

As I said in two of my original posts when this all came out with the photo’s, (and I got quickly shut down by a certain poster) the degree and placement of the knee brace suggested it was LCL.

Are you referring to me? If so I would suggest they you read what I said again.

Has anywhere put a definite date on his return to training etc? Even a target date would be helpful...

Hopefully we will get an update in Bowyers press conference tomorrow, it is odd that the club haven't posted anything about it at all.

They havent recovered from the embarassment :-)

The Addicks’ top scorer will be missing again this weekend for the visit of Championship leaders Leeds United. He faces around two months out with knee ligament damage, and looks set to be in a leg brace for a number of weeks before he can step up his recovery.

Oh wonderful! We'll be propping up the league by then.
  • were basically at the start of October now so 2 months start of december, and he wont be playing 90 minutes straight away.

imo i think its a worse injury than they are letting on.

realistically think there is a chance we may not see him in a Charlton shirt again.

I didn't know you could watch porn where you are!
  • Has anyone confirmed this yet?

Wouldn't be so sure. It would be a brave club who will pay/gamble £4m plus for a player who could break down again. Not for one moment am I wishing that on Lyle, top player and top fella.
  • Agreed - It probably means we will have him for the rest of the season.
  • How very Charlton.

That's hardly a recent interest.
  • Well, he really should not have been hobbling around Ebbsfleet unassisted, should he, if that's the case. Seems to me this one has been mismanaged.
  • I was bemused seeing the pictures of him at Ebbsfleet but thinking about it, you cant do much further damage when the leg is in a brace and using crutches. Ligaments need movement too, especially after a stiff 13 hour flight.
