Sorry, meant Sorba Thomas! But just looked that Boreham Wood are in the National league. Forest Green being in L2.

    Good move if he starts!
Huddersfield have bought Sorba and loaned him to L2 Harrogate

Maybe he's expecting the National League to be abandoned this season so finding himself another club?

got a soft spot for Forest Green as its close to where my uncle used to live in Nailsworth.

went to their ground a few years ago when they had a pre season friendly against Cardiff and won.

If he's not already a vegan, he'll certainly return as one ..  he's going to a well run club which is doing well .. this will be very good for his career in the long term .. links up with perennial favourite, Waggy

I'm sure Waggy will let Josh know the name of his meat dealer

"I've got this dealer, he does the best burger and drumsticks"  ;)

Was just told after Josh had his run of goals, Woking changed their style of play, I dont know if that means they changed his position at all or just the way they played in general. Whatever it was, apparently we were not too pleased about it

Probably just very disappointed to lose him.

Trashy comment from the Woking manager.
    Twat.
Josh Davison is not the kind of player who fancies himself, he is a footballer who will work damn hard and give you everything he's got.
    He is honest.

Shows his recent lack of goals may be due to other factors, not necessarily just down to the player.

He did indeed, 67th minute as well which is my lucky number. It can only mean he will go on to be a club legend.

His hair is majestic, he's gone from bobcut to Pirlo in less than a year, how's he managed that

The lad with great hair scores again for those pesky vegans ;)

Have a feeling he will come back a different player for us

Forest Green now up to second, on a bright note if we do stay in this league next season us vegan Addicks get to go wild on vegan pies potentially..

Can't decide if that last one is deliberate innuendo or just accidental.

Just watched his goal, well taken but that pitch is awful.
  • He might nick, nick a goal
Would have done better than Aneke who is nick, nicking a living ...
@LargeAddick do you stand by that comment?

I'm not a vegan but I'll happily embrace the fare on offer at FGR.
  • Good move for Davison.

if he hits the ground running and scores some goals in a promotion battle in league 2 it will be very difficult for Bowyer not include him the squad next season, unless we get promoted
It's the way you tell 'em.

Long long way from being first team player with us like Lapslie league two is at best his level ... whether we loan in out again next season or just release him with first option to buy back or sell on clause like the Lapslie deal

I think Lapslie might yet push on and emerge as a Harry Arter for the 20s...but fair enough, he arguably had enough time to show that promise.  But Josh D surely can't be written off in that way just yet.. The new contract was offered because we've obviously seen something about him (I bet he'd have taken just another year had we offered it) - so let's give him a bit more time

That's a comment made on assumption, Ronnie.

None of us has seen Davison play this season, he may well have been developing steadily.

Josh reminds me of the way I played, just with more skill, fitness and all round ability. Not forgetting a better head of hair ;)

George is deffo gonna make Charlton regret letting him slip away for nothing  Gilbey for one ain't fit to clean GL's boots, in fact just ain't fit...
Davison as a 3rd division striker next season will look best in Charlton red - in the extreme likelihood we're still paddling in this shitheap next season we'd waste buckets of money trying to find better than JD

Be very surprised if Bogle cost too much though.
