Gomez signed a new 6 year deal in 2018, but i'd expect he's due for another deal on better terms now he's won a champions league and is an international.
Liverpool have a number of players on relatively low salaries, so given their current success their wage bill will skyrocket when their players all want new deals.1 -

I'm not really sure how many players I can sign for us considering I'm not involved in the club at all, but me and MS have the completed same number of permanent transfers. So there's that.

Just for reference, these are actually my thoughts. I'd say I'm a realist, but apparently at this place I'm a pessimist. I like facts, until I see the facts I'm am skeptical.
