    At club level he is playing in a team that wants to attack and score goals. In the Euros he was playing in a team that was held back by a fucking great anchor otherwise known as the back 4 who fortunately through age will probably not  be playing in the next tournament

    His goal literally stopped us embarrassingly going out in the last 16. So we at least owe him thanks for that.

    Bought for a combined total of €200m, and the oldest of the four is 25.

    And will remain to be so for a good few years yet which is probably the really important/scary part.

    Annoying how well they've updated the midfield too, from Casemiro, Kroos and Modric to Tchouameni, Valverde, Bellingham and Camavinga.

    Their squad looks so good and set up for the next few years.

    Yes they're lucky that a load of the best young players want to play for Real, but they've still backed the right horses - Renato Sanches, De Ligt, Joao Felix all went for big money to other big clubs and failed, Real seem to be getting their scouting right.

    In his post match interview I heard him attribute last night performance down to the fantastic coaching he had from Southgate during his time at the Euros lol
