RIP Les - I feel your pain - I lost my Dad in 2017 - he first went to the Valley in 1946 and his wish was that his ashes were scattered at the Valley - we scattered his ashes at the memorial garden last summer, so he is with his beloved Charlton for ever now
This has just bought a tear to my eye, when we first started going away games Les was always on the coach, RIP Les, Dan thinking of you and all the family mate xx
So very sorry to hear this sad news @Elthamaddick my sincere condolences to your family and all of Les' friends. RIP Les a true Addick legend. God Bless you.
very sad news. I've known Les like a great many of us for more years than I'd care to remember and he was a lovely man, a real gent and will be sadly missed by all that knew him I'm sure. My sincere condolences to Danny and his family, thinking of you at this sad time.
Les helped me get tickets for home games in the first couple of months after we returned to the Valley, always insisting on delivering them in person. I think he lived in Blackpool at the time and used to stay at his mums house in Dartford when down this way (I think I've got that right?)
