I was going to post exactly that. I work in a well known London university.The other week when we were still working I was having a chat to one of the academics, (a physicist), and my friend who works on security. My friend brought the 5G nonsense into the conversation. He was told he was completely wrong in simple layman terms but also simultaneously he was being told he is an idiot in very subtle terms. My friend would have to develop a brain to of understood the insult. I wish I could actually remember all the words used but to paraphrase it wouldn't do it justice, but the jest of it was he had devoted his life to physics and the other fellow had devoted his life to Facebook.

Yeah but the physicist was taught physics by "the man" so has been brainwashed from a young age starting with all that so called "gravity" nonsense.

I sure computers are the source of the problem. When I left school only banks and large employers had computers, absolutely too expensive for the average idiot and even the above average rich idiot didn't have room for a computer. So idiots tended to keep themselves to themselves and were largely ignored. Nowadays a phone is as good as having a computer and the average idiot has become an expert on all things clever because he/she can be guided through an account setup. Most of us know we are clever enough to know we are not so clever but an idiot cannot admit this.
