Marcus Maddison will score a dozen goals for Charlton this season. Conor Washington will score a dozen goals for Charlton this Season. Chuks Aneke will score a dozen goals for Cafc this season. The X factor striker brought to the club in the next window will score a Dozen goals.
The rest of the goals will be shared out amongst the squad.
Maddison will win on assists and goals. Marcus is just giving the other lads a start.
Seems some are bit desperate to dislike Maddison, I for one couldn’t give a shit how cringe he is on Instagram, or if likes the occasional takeaway, tattoo or anything else for that matter. I’ll judge the geeza for what he does on the pitch.
Personally I find his posts amusing - they show character. I just hope he gets back to full fitness ASAP as I’m sure he’ll be a truly valuable addition to this year’s campaign. The little bits we’ve already seen are encouraging.
All this talk about his diet... Didnt Usain Bolt say he enjoyed having Chicken McNuggets after a race?
Sports men can probably eat what they want in week but it's no doubt like a Weight Watchers diet where people have to be careful six days a week but can enjoy themselves one day so its no boring

But never before a game of football.
Maddison has to prove that he really still has the hunger. To play that is. Let's hope he can let his football do the talking and start to earn his corn/KFC/MacDonalds etc etc soon enough.
Can’t remember who it was who said it but in our promotion season with Powelly they would often stop at KFC or the like after an away win! That was his treat to the squad! They are elite athletes, they are allowed a cheat meal once in a while...Jesus!

When did he have the Dominos before a game of Football though?

I didn't say he did. I said that Bolt didn't have McNuggets before he played football.
I'm not really worried what he eats. I'm more concerned whether he really wants it enough. The Peterborough fall out followed by a less than successful spell at Hull plus his desire to play up north, nearer to home, in the Championship doesn't suggest that he was desperate to play for us. Whatever we might think of us, we can hardly be described as his "dream move" and his ambitions have been considerably lowered in a matter of months. In fact, he is far worse off financially now and further south than had he signed a new contract at Peterborough last season.
I just want him to prove that he is worth what we think he is worth. Actions speak louder than instagram postings.
Footballers, weight lifters, me, the bloke in your office who goes to the gym every lunch time, professional athletes. Most will have a "cheat day". It's pretty common when you're adhering to a strict diet 6 days a week and working out to have one for a bit of unwinding.
A bit of an extreme example given his gym routine but here's how to do cheat day properly from Dwayne Johnson....
Can we leave knocking his food and gym habits until he’s started to play and is struggling for form at least? We are a pathetic bunch at times.
I can't wait for him to play. That doesn't mean to say that I don't have views on what a professional athlete should and shouldn't be eating. As a one off it's probably fine. But why post it unless you want people to comment? Especially when you haven't even kicked a ball in anger for the club and are actually trying to get fit!
He played 7 games for a club in freefall... At a level he hadn't played at.
Hardly concerning.
Sunday on Pizza, Monday in the gym... How DARE HE SHOW SUCH HUMAN BEHAVIOUR
What is it that he thinks is so interesting about posting that? Why don't all the squad do it and we could see their daily eating habits as I would like to see what a professional athlete regularly consumes to stay in that shape rather than what slobs like me do on a day to day basis!
I think most players, particularly third division ones have a lot of cheat days. I'd say most just don't post about it on social media for exactly this reason. I remember an interview with BWP where he was asked what he was most looking forward to about the break after our winning season and his response was having a 'guilt-free beer'. I always took that to mean he was having a few guilty ones during the season, which is fine. I get the feeling a lot of Maddison's reputation issues come from not appreciating that there's certain stuff people will react to badly that doesn't need to go on your social media.

A lot of social media twats do post all that stuff... You might find it a bit boring to see him eating salads and chicken, rice and broccoli though... He's a typical twenty something narcissist on social media.
The important thing is that he gets it done on the pitch. He's played 6 minutes for us so far and arguably saved us a point in that game. I simply don't get all the targeted hate he's getting from certain fans.

In addition to this... the worst ones do a thing called a mukbang... It's not what I hoped, found it on Youtube didn't even need PornHub.
And to show I know absolutely nothing about eating and fitness, my 17 year old son came home from a cricket academy fitness session last night and told me that he was really pleased that he got 19.4 on a "yo yo" test and also that he came top doing something called "Bring Sally Up" - I haven't a clue what 19.4 represents or what the hell "Bring Sally Up" is but what I do know is that he works out most days and is generally careful what he eats apart from the odd "cheat" day. But he definitely wouldn't post a photo of what he was consuming on that particular day because what's the point of doing so? Unless you want people to comment and that this is just pure bait.
Let your sport do the talking. And once you become a Usain Bolt or Dwayne Johnson you can get Nuggets or Dominos for free - for life!

I hope that you don't think that I've posted anything "hateful". Negative yes but then he's invited that by posting it. And that, I would suggest, is the real reason he's done it. Unless, of course, he is already getting his free Dominos for doing so!
His career was on the shit slide before we picked him up. Needs to prove himself before he starts chucking Texas barbecue stuff crusts down his throat.

Yo Yo test I assume is a new name for the beep test. 19.4 Is a very good score at any age.
Didn't seem to do them any harm albeit Pizza Express is big step up from Dominos.

Your son falls in the excellent score region @Addick Addict
