We draw that 1-1 or lose 2-1 and he would be cnuted off to high heaven for his miss, he has no credit in the bank unlike Schwartz
If we'd drawn 1-1 would we have blamed:
a) Bogle for missing a one on one b) Schwartz for playing as an extra Rovers defender c) Morgan for the red card
d) bowyer for not putting schwarz on earlier with chucks and killing the game off - made me laugh at half time , the commentators were pondering what subs to do - well , we had dominated the game, played well, created a hatful of chances but couldn't get the ball in the net - there was a man sitting on the bench who has 2 nicknames earnt through a carer of putting the ball in the net - the 'gunslinger' and 'the minister of shooting ' was that not a big enough clue - the other clue as to who he should replace was that one of our strikers is deemed to have had a good game by some if he runs about and lays off 5 yard passes
i know shcwarz tripped over his own feet and unfortunately got in the way of a goal bound shot but i've seen enough of him in his brief spells on the pitch to know he will score bundles in a team that create chances
He's a great option to come off the bench and relieve pressure because he holds it up so well. Outside the box I think he's class, it's just inside the box, you can see he doesn't have the instinct. But he can still play an important role, especially doing the hard work alongside someone like Schwarz.
If a pitch is bad one day, I'd love to see us pair Aneke & Bogle and go direct. It'd be chaos.
He’s the fourth best striker in a third tier squad. He is better than Pavel Abbott and quite a few others we’ve had. The idea that he is the worst we’ve ever had is ludicrous. He tries 10 times harder than Marcus Bent ever did.

Hard to compare Marcus Bent and Bogle, Bent was playing in the prem, whilst Bogle is struggling in L1, I am sure Bent would of had a field day in L1

Have you seen the state of Peterborough's pitch? Might be the game to try this out. I agree it could cause a lot of problems.

He played in the old 2nd division obviously was younger at the time and manager 9 goals 70 games.
In total he managed 98 goals in 500 league games mainly playing in Premier league and old First Division
Premier League Stats- 182 games and 31 goals First Division/ Championship stats - 204 games 45 goals
He may have scored a few in league 1 but I doubt he would have had a field day as he was never a prolific striker in fact he only reached double figures in a season twice once for Sheffield United and once for Ipswich

Only comparing effort not skill. Marcus Bent undoubtedly had more skill but never could be bothered to use it for us
Good to see that Bogle hasn't given up, but has decided to fight for his place and his career. He did much better yesterday and showed that he could do an effective job for the team.
I thought Bogle was excellent tonight. Held the ball up well and played players in. If Smyth had been on his toes he would have had a tap in. Don’t let your prejudices cloud your judgement. He did better than Chucks when he came on.

“Excellent”? Really? I mean, each of their own but surely the standard for “excellent” has to be higher than his performance tonight?

I’d pretty much agree with this and I’m not Omar’s biggest fan. The truth is though that Omar isn’t the player we need to get us higher in the league but then neither are 5/6 players in the team

Better than Chuks tonight is fair, excellent is OTT.
Amazing. Though he and Washington were not on the pitch Bogle gets the blame for losing the lead even though Sneke looked like he was treading on egg shells and Schwartz was anonymous.
Schwartz made some very good runs, greedy Aneke though didn't play him in.
No-one is blaming Bogle for losing the game. He possibly played his best game for us, pitch suited him, but not my idea of a striker. We have huge limitations up front. Agree that Aneke needs to realise he has to pass to Schwartz rather than take weak pot shots. Is there a true combination between these 2 strikers? Is there a genuine partnership between any of our so called strikers? LB and SG had to grab what they could and hope for the best.

Maybe we should give them 10 or 15 games to build the partnership?

as long as you don't mind having a striker who doesn't score.

Well done Omar, good to see you fight for your place.

Well done Omar, more please.
Did you think he was rubbish tonight ?

Not his fault we conceded 2 goals, and we didn't improve when he was subbed
Chuks seriously needs to learn to pass.
