He wasn't great but if people think he was the worst player they'd seen in a Charlton shirt, who can forget Lepointe, Eggert Jonsson or any of the Matt Smiths?
I did manage to forget but now you e reminded me....thanks 😂

Mine was Mike Small who replaced the injured Leaburn. Was it at Millwall when he was on a 1-1 with the Millwall keeper and fell over on the way? We did have a very very good defender from Leeds on loan with cropped hair? I can't remember his name? He was quality.

You can be ineffective for Cafc like Leon Clarke who was only a squad signing. Move on to Sheffield United and be played in your favourite position (on the pitch !) in and around the box and be decent. The first time Leon got on the field he was put our wide on the right and within 10 minutes the Cafc experts were saying he is shit. His body language was not great and I remember at Bournemouth he looked unhappy and isolated getting off the coach as everyone else looked upbeat. Training all week and not being involved must make you feel flat. Not so much at Premier level as you are paid a fortune to train and if you struggle to make the 18 squad you can just check your bank balance to cheer yourself up.
I refer the right honourable Gentlemen and Women to my earlier answer. Omar Bogle is paid a full time wage to play football so he is a success in my book.
He might not be the best player to ever grace the pitch but I admire the fact he’s obviously doing everything he can to find a club and a contract. Us, Doncaster, Hartlepool and now Newport in the last few years. A lot of moving about, don’t know if he has a family, but he’s not a young lad trying to establish himself anymore, he’s doing what he can to earn a living
Give him the benefit of the doubt. They have been In-breeding down there for years, perhaps they have branched out to humping chimps and he actually thinks he is an ape?
Brilliant to see the response by the players, as one pointing out the bigot. If any had reacted violently then the story would be slightly about that as well. Fair play to the club for their fast decisive actions as well.

He joined us in 20-21, made 17 appearances, wasn't very good and moved on.
32 pages and 933 comments later - what exactly am I missing here?

Good.
If it has a job, doubt he’ll keep it.
Absolute waste of oxygen.
At least he gave the other fans something to smile about.
