Matches coming thick and fast, a bit like Robbo in full flow. Thanks to him, we've get Lee Bowyer as our manager, we're on a run and need it to continue.
Got the 2 old boys acting as enforcers to protect the defence, with the not much younger Shinnie in front of them. Midfield looks a bit turgid and one paced.
As I have said in the match preview thread, we have to get used to seeing Pratley and Watson together until others are up to speed and Gilbey is back.
You might not like it, but it’s about being solid, giving the defence a bit of protection, and ensuring we have enough leaders and continuity on the pitch.
We have more than enough to bring off the bench and change the game.

Defense seems solid enough that we'd only need one DM in midfield.

Suprised to not see one of JFC or Williams instead of them.
Expect I will be frustrated at some of the football we play, but not care at the end of the day if we get another 1-0.
Hopefully Maddison will get some minutes.
Subs: Stevens, Hall, Cooper, McGuane, Agyei, Kelley, Elechi

Bench, by comparison, is glittering.
And that’s why you quote your replies. :-)
Especially if Bowyer thinks Robbo will spring a surprise and play 4-2-3-1.
Like Curbs, Bow does like to match up to start with.

Saturday’s team will be ‘stronger’ looking.
I know we're at the Valley today so should be more attacking but as @Sage says, others arent up to speed so its a bit limited in Midfield
