Washington is not dangerous they said... That finish was a peach.
3 goals now. You watch him keep going.5 -
Two attempts. Two goals.
Blimey though, how did we get here after that?0 -
I mean it's a decent free kick but absolutely woeful keeping27 -
This really shows the gulf in quality between the Championship and League One these days.

Who was marking Conor though, found so much space in the centre of the pitch when he picked it up2 -
Oxford playing some really nice stuff. We have been terrible to watch but we did have the best chance of the game so far.
LB didn't look happy on that touchline even after the second one went in. I expect we'll have a better second half.7 -
Smyth definitely more effective further wide. He's playing how I'd like to see Williams play; quick feet, direct and only going down if genuinely fouled not just looking for it.7
-
I actually think Oxford are good when they've got the ball. Defensively they are a mess though. If we played with a front 3 of Aneke, Doughty and Maddison it could've been a rout.6

Suprised to not see one of JFC or Williams instead of them.
Expect I will be frustrated at some of the football we play, but not care at the end of the day if we get another 1-0.
Hopefully Maddison will get some minutes.
Well I was at least right about the frustrating football part.1 -
So far so good. Quite like Washington think he's a good finisher and a shrewd signing for this level.3
-
Well that's a flattering half time score.
Shinnie is going to be a key man for us this season.1 -

He really is emerging though as quite the player. Weird that Luton would even let him go

You are priceless0 -
Strange half, as Oxford have looked better than us, passing the ball better and looking more dangerous in attacking positions.
A quality move and pass from Shinnie created the first, but I thought the keeper could have done better as the shot seemed straight at him. The second was well hit, but poor keeping as it was on his side of the goal
Oxford do seem to be giving away a lot of unnecessary fouls. One of them led to the second goal0 -
How on Earth are we 2 up??3
-
If we score with every shot on target we should be okay this season.4
-
Great play and through ball by Shinnie for the first goal, tidy finish by CW too.
Fair play to Shinnie for having a go from that free kick but keepers had a shocker.
Oxford started well but they seem to playing too offensive for their skill level(can't wait for them to beat us now) hopefully we can see the game out.1 -

Bonne is getting absolutely slaughtered by QPR fans on Twitter.3

I'll elaborate on Watson. He's given it away as much as he's passed to our lot. He's been a yard behind his challenges - beaten in the air and on the ground. His only good tackle was on just the ball with no Oxford player near. He's hidden. Not been available for passes. Yes, he technically returned a throw to Gunter before our first goal, but that required a good pass from Gunter, a good turn and pass from Shinnie and a good finish. He's been garbage. Get literally anyone else on.
Pratley has gotten stuck in. Consider him upgraded to "play him as the DM destroyer"2 -

Lol
People were writing off Shinnie as part of a useless midfield with Pratley and Watson 20 minutes ago, suddenly he's 'so important'4 -
Shocking by the keeper. I was watching on iPad and heard phone buzzing with tweet alerts so assumed we’d scored and he’d lifted it over the wall into top left bins. Stunned when he hit it right and the keeper still missed it.0

Oxford have at least one goal if not two in them. Afraid we have to slow the game for 25 minutes then give Maddison a decent run out to try and get a third.1
