Still not overly impressed with him as yet. If the goalkeeper had caught his free-kick, as he should, then his sole contribution would have been the pass for Washington's goal, which was a decent pass but nothing more. I was expecting him to be more on the ball and dictating matters. Still early days though.
Against the grain here, but I thought we looked more than comfortable with Oxford’s attack, and have picked our opportunities wisely. We’ve scored twice from those opportunities and fully expect to exploit them further as the game goes on and they tire.
Remember, they’ve just had a Karl Robinson team talk; they’re bound to be deflated now.
