Great strike for free kick but GK was woeful0
-
Bad luck karl 😂😂⚽️⚽️0

Thought Oxford have played well. One moment of quality by Shinnie and keeper mistake has given us a healthy lead. Hoping Bogle/Symth can get a goal to help their confidence0

Over 450 minutes since we last conceded a goal. Will likely break 500 with a clean sheet.6

Oxford have moved the ball well but they haven't created anything. We've been clinical so far.1
-
Be interesting to see how Oxford change it up - do they stop man-marking Watson and Pratley and give Watson the space to start picking out passes?0

We need to bring our playmaker Pratldinho more into the game second half6
-
Their keeper had the positioning right, just got caught
out by accuracy and pace1 -
Fortunate, but effective.0

So what does LB do now? We sit back and invite them on in the hope that we hit them on the counter for this half or bring on Maddison and Aneke with 20 minutes to go to ensure that we aren't under the cosh for the duration?0

I think he's just a bit limited and doesn't score with enough frequency to mask that fact. He probably would've scored between 5-10 for us but I think we are more balanced without him and have 2 million in the bank as well.4 -

Squad member + project sure, but starter from day one was always going to be a stretch.2 -
Literally have no idea how it’s 2-0 but we’ll take it!I think we’ll concede tonight but fancy us to get a third and win 3-1. Smyth frustrating, CM lacking movement. Shinnie obviously the difference and I really like who he tries to
make things happen. Bogle been poor, hopefully Aneke is fit enough for 15/20. Be nice to see Maddison aswell0 -
Not good in the first 25 mins of this game, but a super ball to Washington opens up their defence and boom!! 1-0. As for the FK, it was hit well, but keeper was awful. Not a good performance but 2-0 up at HT we have to take that and hope we can build in the 2nd, sometimes ( as per the game against The Cobblers) you have to win ugly. Another 45 to go, lets hope we can keep a 'shut out!! COYR's1

When's the last time we went into half time with a 2-0 cushion? We will do our usual and ask them to score to help us out!0

didnt look shite early last season, when he had Connor, Jonny and Leko supplying him1 -
QPR went down to 10 men in the 26th minute, giving away a penalty in the process. Bonne isn't the reason they are losing3
-
That Oxford keeper is dreadful and to think we were able to leave a keeper like Elliot on the bench0
-
Their passing is crisper than ours, they are dragging us around without finding the killer final ball.
Don't think this is over yet.
But good football for the first goal nd a great free kick, albeit should have been saved1 -

Against the grain here, but I thought we looked more than comfortable with Oxford’s attack, and have picked our opportunities wisely. We’ve scored twice from those opportunities and fully expect to exploit them further as the game goes on and they tire.
Remember, they’ve just had a Karl Robinson team talk; they’re bound to be deflated now.6
