Went for Quite Unlikely but probably more in the Not Sure / Its in the Balance

Think I'll wait and see first... I'm not an anti-vaxing idiot but I'm very mistrusting of a lot

I've never bothered with a Flu Vaccine either each winter, and with the COVID vaccine will want to know its safe before I have it jabbed inside me

Very likely, this is a time of national/international crisis and we won’t get back to the way of life we treasure without some courage.

    I put very likely.

I doubt I would be able to anytime soon I am 30 with no health conditions, but as soon as I am allowed I will have it

The vaccine will be tried and tested on all us old gits and the unwell, so by the time it is offered to you, at least you will know it’s safe!

Very likely - although it depends on what mixer it comes with.

I would like to have it, I’m a vaccine absolutist, but I’m not at risk or a risk group so unlikely to get it anytime soon

I put very likely because definitely isn't an option . In the extremely vunerable group but under 30 so I don't quite know when I'll get it exactly because I haven't seen an exact rollout plan.

I absolutely detest needles but this is one I'll be happy to see! .

If there's anyone on here that's been in the trials or involved in any of the development of these vaccines , I thank you greatly.
  • Voted very likely

As I'm 52, I'm on the list of people eligible for the vaccine, but at the bottom, so it'll be several months before I can get the jabs
  • Said not sure, though might be more inclined due to where I live: we may be persuaded to have it.

For very likely read would camp on the doorstep of the dispensing venue.

I'm 60 and work with some of the most vulnerable and likely to transmit infection so I hope to get a reasonably early opportunity.

My partner is over 60, is a teacher in a primary school, and has angina so I will be knocking on the door shouting if she isn't near the front of the queue.

Would you encourage your wife or daughter to have the vaccine if she were pregnant?
  • Have the vaccine, get back to the Valley

I'd be too busy needing resuscitation if my "wife" were pregnant.

It shouldn't be.  It only encourages them.

    Yes, no question.
Apart from the under 30's, the only people I know that don't want it are the people that believe in the Illuminati, man didn't land on the moon etc etc, as one might expect.
We'll get more than enough people vaccinated to protect everyone, but I still think it'll be late summer/autumn before we get to some sort of pre covid normality.

One does wonder if having the vaccine will result in some advantages in society. Plane travel, attending large events, small events (like Millwall away), hotels etc.

Not sure how well that would go down.

Is it really any different to having to have vaccines for certain things if you travel to certain places?

I had to have an armful, 4 I think, to go to Venezuela.  It was a choice either have them or don't go.

It’s bound to make a difference. A no vaccination card, no entry policy will probably be the way to allow places, pubs, stadiums etc to start to open up again. As for travel, some countries already have vaccination requirements so this would only just be another one for the list.

If you think going to Millwall is an advantage in society I think you are aiming too low.

Prefer perpetual pandemic to another trip to the Den to be honest!

Definitely, unless there is a medical reason, everyone should have it.
